  • Oculus Quest 2 headstrap too tight headache how to adjust?

Just got myself a Oculus Quest 2 but I'm having problems with the headstrap, can you move the left side slider on the strap to make the strap longer ? I can only seem to move the right hand side of the strap , it's driving me crazy as it's too tight and it's pressing against my forehead causing pain , not a comfortable vr headset compared to the Oculus go which is comfortable. Any advice or videos would be appreciated, thanks .

To make the strap longer you have to slide the two plastic slider on the back of the strap together into the middle towards the mount of the upper headstrap. For me the easiest way to do this is when i'm already wearing the headset.

Redhulk50 No, no worse forehead. The Quest 2 differs not much from the Oculus Go. But the Quest 1 is more uncomfortable.

Redhulk50 if you can find it and are willing to pay for it, the elite strap is worth the investment. Yes it is overpriced and there are reports of it breaking, but I haven't experienced anything negative. It's just so much more comfortable. Personally I feel it should be the strap that was bundled with the headset.

keylox23 Dont buy the elite strap, its fragile garbage and isnt even that comfortable. Mine (preordered) broke within 5 days of mild use 90% of which was seated. there are better options out there if you'll look for them, look up gopandavr's halo strap, or the vive frankenstrap mod. either would be more durable and way more comfortable than oculus.

Besides this thing wasnt build for comfort any way based on thr eggcrate foam liner and lack of ipd adjustment. With the os cracked, the number of mods is going to be unreal.

BeardedBaker thanks for the heads up and the recommendations. I've heard many of them cracked. So far mine seems to be holding up but who knows. I still stand buy that it is more comfortable than the included strap even though it is overpriced.
