slrp007 As the admins have said in this and the other thread, publishing remixed/duplicated content is not prohibited, it just results in the scene in question being put into the Sandbox and not the New feed. So what Deepinsex does is actually the best option for users. They do what they have to do for monetization, i.e. publish one shoot in several parts so that all of them appear in the New feed, and then at a later time release a full cut that probably only appears in the Sandbox. Also, there clearly is some editing involved, because e.g. the Annaleigh Reno full version is 1h18m long, while just stapling all previous videos together would result in something closer to 1h30m.
Having seen all of this, I am kind of agreeing with the admins here. VRedging could just do the same thing, i.e. proceed as they currently do with releasing two separate videos making sure that the hardcore one doesn't trip the duplicate check (I think they included too much of the edging cut in their Ariana Cortez HC video, which got put in the Sandbox because of that), and then release a full DC later that appears in the Sandbox. I would think that the current editing work starts with the full video and then cuts that one into two parts anyways, so it wouldn't even result in more a significant amount of more work for them.
Does VRedging know this? I am wondering if really the issue is one of communication between SLR and the independent studios publishing their videos here.
acjackson2431 To be fair, VRedging already basically lost their edging identity some time ago. If you check the pre-HCDC era, there's some actual edging content. With the softcore videos nowadays, it's abundantly clear that they just consist of parts cut out off a hardcore video. In that sense, they already cater to the HC crowd, and I cannot imagine many people who are into edging stuff still liking their videos.
