I'm running Windows 11 with a Valve Index. For about the last two weeks, many new scenes—especially all the SLR ones—only offer a 1080p streaming option in DeoVR. My streaming speed test shows 228 Mbps, which should be more than sufficient for higher resolutions. I've already tried reinstalling DeoVR and clearing the cache, but higher resolution options are still unavailable.

In Deovr, it jitters when I move cam up and down with control stick , also when i use dome rotation it's moves jittery. Video plays fine its just the control movements up and down.

How do I fix this if I watch VR videos in browser? Doesn't matter the browser, incog/private or normal, 1080p is only available.

When I try to switch to H265, the video just reloads and instantly switches back to 264 and max 1080p resolution. Deo VR, Win 11, Index. It shouldn't be a codec issue as I can play downloaded 265 files no problem. Oh, and my internet shows as about 360mbps on your speed test.

Zenbobin is there a specific video that you are having an issue with or does this persist on all videos?

Kieshi All videos I've tried it on will switch to H264. The 1080p depends on the video, older ones that were encoded in 264 at the higher resolution work fine, but most of the new ones are pinned at 1080.

It's quite frustrating as 1080 in VR looks awful, like a video you'd see online in the 00s.
