Hello, I think it's a good effort for early version, connects to my lovense gush without issues and plays scripts, intensity setting works, etc
What I think the app still needs, especially for connections with vibrating devices:

fullscreen and landscape fullscreen
inverse setting - for vibrating toys, up stroke in a script increases intensity instead of down stroke. Normally this is corrected by inverting the script (0 for Handy is 100 for gush and vice versa)
ability to choose the script if there are multiple available - the script setting is gone in the HC player so if there's a hand made and AI script available for the same video, I can't choose between them
gyro mode for the player
nice to have would be the ability to hide the "play in VR" button. If this doesn't open the browser player in cardboard mode (see below), it's useless to always show it when interacting with the player, as it doesn't do anything on mobile phone players
very nice to have would be cardboard mode. I know SLR has ceased to support it but all usual browsers can utilize it (hell, my cardboard app has received an update via playstore recently) and it works well on other sites. Without expecting advanced SLR features like passthrough and others, honestly this would be the best mode for using HC with mobile devices, if available

doublevr the cost and privacy, in short. I've found small portable folding cardboard glasses (homido mini) which allow me to try VR videos. Yes, it's no Quest 3 of course but usable for short watching. It's SLR's decision of course to ditch whatever technology you guys want. I've read some older posts where there were plans to abandon bluetooth toys too but I personally am happy to see that the new HC app still potentially supports the toys I already have. I have no plans to buy Handy or other elaborate toys, for the same reasons as with headsets.

Pinks85 yeah, there's a bare minimum too get tech working. Bluetooth sex toys are here to stay. We have made them work

doublevr Is there a way to use the SR6 with a Quest 3? The haptics connect config site seems to only have firmware for the OSR2. I tried it using the PC link to Quest with a wired connection and it's great, but the lack of passthrough is a bit of a drag. I've got an SR6 firmware that says it includes Bluetooth but I can't seem to find a way to get it to actually pair.

parsec It is only possible to connect SR6 via PC + USB, bluetooth connection is not available for this device

I ended up using the enable remote control toggle and connected the SR6 to multifunplayer along with DEO on quest 3. I was able to get the SR6 to work over wifi but the serial connection was a lot more consistent. I couldn't find a way to select the multi axis script in multifunplayer and script selection in deo doesn't seem to have any effect on what the player loads so I ended up having to download the script and load it into multifun player manually. This is using Khrull's firmware.

doublevr When using the old haptics app my Kirroo Keon was smooth and never missed inputs but with the direct connection it often skips inputs at random points.

I noticed a missing piece of functionality when using the Lovense Edge 2: Formerly it was possible in the Haptics app to select the mode (speed, position, inverse position) and also set the maximum strength individually for each of the two motors - if I remember correctly. That is no longer possible through the new app, and neither when connecting directly to DeoVR. Would be great to have that added back. My use case is to utilise the toy together with a Quest 3, so to me it doesn't matter whether it is a direct connection between DeoVR and toy, or routed through the haptics app like before (although the latter would seems unnecessarily complicated).

Prod, some of the vibration options that were available in the older Haptics Connect are currently missing. We’re aware of this and reviewing what can be brought back in future updates.

As for individual motor strength control, after checking internally it doesn’t appear to be something that’s supported at the moment.
