Hi folks, as some of you already noticed, we have released new version of Hyper v1.4 on Quest and Apple Vision Pro.

What was added:
Haptics connectivity for Wi-Fi toys
HLS encoding for AVP to improve video and sound streaming
Additional icons for thumbnails
Updated UI

Coming up:
Early March we expect to release Playlists and some improvements to search. Also transform settings are WIP.

Kieshi Nice work on the haptics support and all the new additions. An option to hide the cursor and native support for the Gxr are two things i can't wait for. The porting app used to remove quest specific files and turn into straight android messed up the colors for the videos.

How is the Xr support coming along btw any devs?

It does look promising......gave it a try with the Handy and works well. Could you add A-B looping to the UI as I use that feature a lot in DEOVR. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!

Sorry for this stupid question from a newbie: on AVP how to hide or move away the control panel from the main scene view? (I tried to seek for this but didn’t find)

T70 you can hide UI by looking somewhere outside of UI, then pinch your fingers and it will be hidden

The interactions in the app seems more responsive than DeoVR, but loading of videos seems to be noticeably slower. Especially noticeable when scrubbing back and forth in the video.

We are have transcoded 20% of SLR library to native apple hls encoding. Full backlog is expected mid March so you won't see any such issues

doublevr Tested about 5 videos. All released about 3 weeks ago. Tested on Meta Quest 3.

Is it possible at the moment on AVP to hide or move away the player control panel from the main scene view? (Is it me I didn’t find or not yet available?)

Kieshi thank you for the reply: that was the first thing I tried (like with 4xvr player) but it doesn’t work on my AVP M5, please double check.

T70 are you using latest production version? We just double-checked and everything seems to be working on our end on AVP M5.
Please make sure you are not looking at the UI while pinching.

Kieshi Hello, yes I’m on latest VisionOS release an app as well. More than sure I was not looking at UI (I was looking far away explicitly to test, I have done many tries), other apps are working properly. VisionOS language is set to Italian but the account is a US one in order to have availability for the App Store.

I noticed with unscripted videos that the Handy is still playing some sort of script. Is this a new function and are you playing a random script? Anyway nice to have some script action while watching an unscripted vid...

Summer Hart sexy story (but every non AI scripted vid gives some action on the Handy).
btw.. only works after once playing a scripted vid.

T70 could you please check one thing:

Go to Apple Vision Pro settings
Search "Hyper"
See if "Hands Structure and Movement" toggle is enabled. If not - enable it and this will allow hiding UI with a pinch.

Kieshi Thank you a lot: that worked and now I can say the app is quite usable. I would like to report that sometimes happened that passtrough stopped working and to recover it it was necessary to kill the app long pressing both left button and the digital crown. Anyhow the app is good.
