Our Meta Browser Hub is now smoother, faster, and easier to use.

You can move the UI and video by pressing and holding the new button in the middle of the player to place it wherever you like. ✨
We also updated to a new API for better performance and stability. 🚀

What else is new:

Fixed video titles disappearing on Apple Vision Pro
Added a 2D icon for flat videos
Improved logic for the Play Next button
Fixed an issue where the last opened video didn’t play after clicking “Play Next” multiple times
New videos (released within 24 hours) now show release time in hours

I use deoVR on my Oculus Quest 3. It works, but its features seem to be limited. I'm not very tech-savvy in VR browsers, so when I got deoVR to work, I stopped looking into other options.

How does the Meta Browser compare to deoVR?
How do I access the Meta Browser Hub?
Please explain in simple terms. 🙂

I don't think there is, at least not down to every single detail. But if DeoVR works for you, there is no real reason for thinking about switching to the browser hub. I think the only thing worth exploring is whether you might like the look of videos better in the hub. I understand the video rendering in the browser is different and maybe also things like color profile or sharpening. I don't think the browser is better than the app, it's more a matter of personal preference.

The main disadvantages of the browser hub at the moment (in my view):

No AI PT
Skipping forward 10 sec always requires approx. 1 sec of buffering
While being able to reposition videos is a big step forward, the way it works in the hub is less convenient than in the app.
Some features from the app are missing. If this is relevant depends on whether you were using these in the app.

SchnuppiLilac yeah i tested the browser hub version last week and have to say the video quality is incredible vs deovr but the disadvantages you mentioned is also what i discovered which has led me to remain on deovr. not having AI PT or the Bluetooth haptic integration are two deal breakers for me. excited to see the progress tho!

So happy to hear the video quality impressed you — we’ve spent a lot of time fine-tuning it! 🎥 Unfortunately, Bluetooth isn’t supported in browsers (that’s a Meta limitation), and AI PT works best in DeoVR or Hyper — the team did an incredible job there. For everything else, the Hub is your place — and if there’s any way we can make it better, just let us know! 🙌

WebXRChief Are there less videos on the hub than on the website/app or is there some issue with the search or indexing? When I search for performer 'Renee Rose', I can find only 4 videos in the hub while there are 16 on the website. When I search for studio 'Taboo VR Porn', most of their videos don't show on the hub.

SchnuppiLilac Thanks for bringing this to our attention - this feedback is really valuable to us.
You’re right, there is a design issue with the hub’s search functionality that we’re aware of. The good news is that there are no limits on the library - all content is available in the hub. The problem is with how the search currently work, which we know isn’t very convenient.
We’re already working on a new search system for the hub that will make finding content much easier. In the meantime, here’s a workaround you can use: search for videos on the website (you can use your phone browser, for example), and then use the “remote launch” button to play them in the hub. We’ve made the search on the new website very user-friendly, so this should give you a better experience until the improved search is ready in the hub.
Again, thank you for highlighting this issue - it’s really important for us to hear about these problems so we can prioritize fixing them.

GalaxyXR support is now live — we’ve fixed all major bugs, and the hub is fully functional on the new headset. 4K video and PT are also available.
There’s still room for improvement: the headset currently runs only at 72fps and has some Bluetooth issues. Hopefully these will be resolved in upcoming firmware updates — the device still feels a bit raw.

A proposal for the hub time codes: Since the time code descriptions are disconnected from the video progress bar, it would be very helpful to highlight the currently active time code on the left hand panel in a different color. When a video is a compilation and has many time codes whose descriptions are numbers and not related to what's happening in the video, it's really cumbersome right now to find where you are on that list.

Wow, nice work WebXR team! If a new user can just put on a Quest, and jump straight into VR porn (no app downloads needed)... that is a HUGE deal for this industry. And the visual quality seems just as sharp (maybe even sharper) than Deo.

However, as was mentioned, the buffering when seeking around a video is pretty bad. Is it possible this can be fixed?

But the real deal breaker for me was the lack of customizable controls. PLEASE allow us to configure our controllers/keybinds, so they behave as they do in Deo.

Address those two issues and Hub has MASSIVE potential.
