Hi, this topic has already come up in the content updates thread (latest post from me: here), but it concerns the new SLR policy of handling re-releases of scenes. I think we can all agree that some studios clearly abused the previous policy by releasing >95% similar content multiple times, but the change has really hurt VRedging, which is one of the most popular studios on this site, and you can look at comments under recent scenes to see people negatively notice the consequences of the new policy.
I think while strict rules that perfectly filter inappropriate scenes automatically would be nice, there clearly needs to be some case-by-case judgements being made, because the current situation actively makes content worse. At least before you could just ignore the re-releases, but now there are no "complete" versions of some scenes, just separate videos for penetration and non-penetration parts. For me, the biggest issue before was the deception by some studios. VRedging is pretty open with scenes being edits of previous ones.
