doublevr
I have an open mind - would love to understand the piece I'm not seeing.
If you look into the details in my earlier posts, you'll see I don't just care about my home. I want to see the entire ecosystem flourish. I want to see SLR succeed.
But most of all, I want to see innovation, and the limits of this medium pushed forward. The line between reality and adult vr entertainment blur, and disappear. This is why I bought the life subscription - because I believe SLR has the vision and passion to make this happen.
Looking at this last decision, I see SLR's most immersive capabilities (OSR multi axis/MFP compatibility) being taken away. Not only a face slap for your most avid users, but a big step back in innovation.
But as you said, there are things I just don't know. Perhaps months from now we'll be surprised at how far SLR has come and see what has happened here in a different light. That would be a good outcome.
But until then, we're siting here with devices we can't use, frustrated, with no good alternatives.
