Sounds like a good reason to optimize bitrate and allow max quality streaming

I download a lot, let's not change it please.

I would not subscribe if streaming only.

I’ve downloaded a few of my favorites as I sometimes bring my Quest 3 on business trips and the hotel internet can be sketchy. Is there another reason to download? The resolution doesn’t seem to be any better but maybe my settings are wrong.

Would make sense if this metioned the percentages before and after removal of high bitrate scene downloads.

Who wants to download a 17mb bitrate crappy out of focus file that you provide now for your SLR originals? Not me. The least you could do for your subscribers was giving us a decent bitrate... I joined this site because of the high quality videos you had. Now I dont see any of that. Even the streaming quality is crap with extreme lag because of your deovr app. Where is the new app? You said you were going to improve streaming quality... Dont see none of that. And what happen to SLR Drive? Dont see any news of that either.

If you make the original/HBR files available for streaming, I would also not use the download option anymore. Until then, I need the download option.

With SLR, having a lifetime account and a good conection meens I never download, just stream via DEOVR on Q3 as it's convenant (as long as no server issue), don't need to fuss over files for device scripts ect just click and it works. With other services I download, but with SLR it's simple, works and plenty of new content, and with videos that you like just save to playlists for when you want to rewatch, only thing I don't like with DEOVR player is resetting posstion if you are laying back in bed, it always seems to go at an odd angle.

If you only stream: - You get lower bitrates, lower image quality and more buffering - You lose access to hundreds of videos as studios leave or licenses expire or scenes are pulled because someone said a bad word or took a sip of alcohol - You have to use DEO instead of the (still) vastly superior Heresphere - You may get memory errors which require a hardware reboot - You don't have easy immediate access to scenes not on SLR - If SLR disappears or you stop subscribing or porn is legislated into oblivion, you are left with nothing "You will own nothing and be happy"

Less than 10% of SLR users download 1 file or more

doublevr Why would users care about this? I only care about what I do and what I want. Not what what the highest % of people do.

Silly-Sausage Older and wiser, give 'em an inch and they will take a mile - Slow creep effect !

I see you totally get it mate 🙂

It was the naivety of youth that have killed video gaming IMO by saying 'Game Pass' is the greatest bargain ever without having the foresight of Microsofts intentions and now they are realising their mistake but it's too late.

Playstation have an open goal atm, but we all know they will miss the target and go to the dark side.

Anyway, bah humbug 🙂

It appears that i deserve God like status for my foresight and investment strategy - I foregive those who doubted me - Kneel before me and kiss my ring lool 🙂

Indeed, more big news - Hideo Kojima going to Xbox - Sony are imploding, they have lost the plot 🙂

I download every video, I'm planning to watch, because my internet is unstable so streaming in 8k isn't an option. If I download it (takes 1-2 hours), I can simply transfer to my meta quest 3 and watch it without any stuttering.

You guys are the best when it comes to hosting vr porn and producing them. I never paid for porn until I came across SLR, this is a great product, so please don't fuck it up by making stupid decisions.

invest in some kind of NAS and then stream from it, grow your VR video library

Install XBVR to give it an interface with metadata https://github.com/xbapps/xbvr

SLR was also the first porn i've ever paid for and totally worth it

jommy I'll look it into it, thank you

VSaucy123 Just be prepared to pay a lot for it. Hard drives have gone up in price by a fair margin thanks to the AI companies buying up everything for their data centers.
