Its been a couple of months since we've had any new uploads from these two studios and nothing in the upcoming section either, does anybody at SLR know if they are planning to contine uploading new titles or have we lost them please?

I know there was a bit of drama from the guy at KinkyGirlsBerlin in the forum a while back so maybe that could be the cause of them not uploding any longer?

xxxscottyxxx KGB are done with SLR. They are still releasing on the other aggregator sites (POVR and VRPorn).

I don't know about ItalianFetishVR, but they may very well have left for similar reasons.

when a studio leaves. does that mean their content will disappear as well? or they just stop releasing new stuff and their previous content stays.

I mean, is there any kind of agreement about this if it happens?
also, why are studios even thinking of leaving slr?

I believe it's the best distributor, to be honest. from the clean, modern, and easy to use website to the perfect integration with deovr and soon HYPER.

no one can come close to this seamless integration and ease of use. did any?

I'm not biased when it comes to anything. when I love a service because it is clean, easy to use, and modern, I invest in it.

so do I miss something or am I wrong about anything?

Studios can take their videos down if they choose to, some do and some might just stop uploading new content

There's many potential reasons why a studio might want to leave a site like SLR, the number one reason is probably due to money or lack of exposure

Try being a trans studio and make money here, impossible! SLR refused to accommodate trans studios (its a hidden category) so they left, the category is now spammed by 2D videos and effectively dead
SLR might have a nice interface but my experience, the app is constantly crashing on my Pico 4 after 10-20 minutes of use, maybe due to a memory leak or something similar
The notifications system in general is completely broken so I cannot see when a studio or performer has released a new scene
The website is spammed by 2D scenes now, so VR studios now have to share their income with 2D studios
^ to add on to this, there is a serious lack of transparency with SLR payouts. Compare it to YouTube: They will explain where every cent comes from
Lots of VR studios to compete with so if you spend $1k producing a video, it will be visible on the frontpage for 1-2 days and then disappear into the ether. This means studios are constantly trying to game the system, split your video into multiple versions, get more spots on the frontpage.. release an extended version, that's another release!

And if you spend a lot of money buying expensive camera equipment, there is no way to bump your videos above the low quality videos you are competing against, definitely something that can be improved imo

With most streaming platforms there becomes an enshittification moment, look at YouTube - AI videos galore and before then it was misleading thumbnails or cookie-cutter videos with no subsistence

Hopefully SLR can do something proactive but for now it feels like they are no longer focusing on quality and becoming too big for their own shoes 🤷

it's kinda suck that some content creators have to struggle with these issues.

I too hope there's something that can be done to improve the whole situation for the studios/content creators.

because they are the most important part of this chain, for SLR as revenue and for us as more new content.
