therestherub Quest2 volume is somehow controlled independently through 2 sources. The physical HMD volume and the Home screen volume adjustor ( https://i.imgur.com/bPylEyr.jpg ). It is possible that you can get a 200% volume if you set both independent volume sources to the max. Try to reduce the home screen volume to 50% or lower and start using only the HMD volume to adjust the volume to the audio volume of your preference.

Just wanted to share a little fix that I did to resolve the issue of controller button mapping for my Xbox One Controller on SLR
For those that are not aware, Oculus Go and Oculus Quest have Bluetooth experimental support where we can easily pair up our familiar Bluetooth gamepad controllers.
Previously I was not able to configure and assign the action to the controller properly. Seems that some button is showing a different button mapping from the button of my choice. For example, button "LB" on my controller is showing as "Y" button on SLR mapping and worse some button did not even register at all
Turns out that my Xbox Controller is somehow outdated on its firmware thus it had caused some issue registering the correct buttons. The solution:
1) Install and run the Xbox Accessories app from MS Store
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/xbox-accessories/
2) Plug in a USB cable from your PC to the Xbox Controller
3) Once connected, the Xbox Accessories app should prompt you to update the controller's firmware
4) Click update button and once the update is complete, you should be able to map the controller properly on SLR app.Hope this helps someone out
Using Xbox Controller with SLR takes it to a different level ..keyword "rumble"
