I use a Samsung Gear VR rig with an Android Galaxy 9 phone. I downloaded the SLR app sometime last year and it worked just fine until earlier this year after a large Android OS update. Since then I have been unable to use the app. I open the app from my phone prior to connecting to my Samsung Gear, then connect to the Gear when prompted. Once I strap into the Gear I see the following text:

Thread priority security exception. Make sure the APK is signed.

I have also downloaded the Deo VR Player app which initially displayed text that said it was not compatible with my device but it is now working. That said, I would love for the SLR to work for me again! Any suggestions?

jizzlobber From your DeoVR navigate to sexlikereal.com and you'll have full SLR app functionality there

Perhaps I wasn't clear. I got Deo VR to work for me just fine. I really prefer the SLR app interface, however. Any ideas as to why the SLR app is not working for me?

jizzlobber Gear VR is no longer supported by Oculus and bugs start cramp it. Deo seems your only options, otherwise upgrading your headset is recommended

What you can do is sideload SLR go app through Sidequest. I did not have a problem with that.
