    airbender I mentioned this on another recent SLR release having been shot on the K2 pro and someone said that the modded 8k rig is only in Europe. Not sure how much of a backlog of US releases were already shot with the old camera and at what point all future US scenes will be 8k. The last two with Molly were all in 6k unfortunately, really wished they would have been on the 8k camera instead, but they still look great, these guys have been shooting some super crisp 6k scenes for a good while.

        bobbytables yup, go back and watch Pleasure Trip with Kenna James and Uma Jolie, the image quality is outstanding in comparison to the stuff now. idk what changed but it was for the worst.

        Unfortunately, I have to agree.

        I don’t know what changed, but the image today isn’t very detailed, has halos from over sharpening, and often has too much contrast (depending on who edits the scene).

        I really wish SLR would prioritize resolving this. As their image quality is below average compared to other studios. It really puts a damper on new releases. Especially because the casting is stellar.

              Interesting mention, I would say the quality from release to release definitely ranges, but I do see an overall improvement with the latest 8k releases

              I'm curious, which other studios have the best video quality according to you?

              I'm always amazed by VRBangers recent output, even their 6k versions look crystal clear, perfect colours and no visible compression artifacts during busy scenes. They even pulled off a great outdoor scene with their recent "Wild in Tulum" release.
