  • My 1st and LAST experience with SLR's Customer Support

It all started ONE MONTH AGO:

I wanted to watch one of my favorite performers (Lana Smalls) with the PT AI function on the following scene:

However, as you can clearly see, under “Video Specifications”, PT AI is not listed there, and to this day (05/04) it isn't.

Adrianvr and toslr attempted to look into it, but nothing.
So the recommendation was to email SLR Customer Support.

So I went ahead, and emailed them, in the hopes of getting this issue resolved.
Additionally, I've been wanting to watch a few older scenes using the PT AI (Hide Male) function, but that function is not working as well as it could be.
The AI mask was generated back when the entire SLR library was AI generated, so it's inferior when compared to newer masked scenes.
So I thought: “let me kill two birds with one stone”, right?
Well, wrong.

“Tanya and team” either don't speak/understand English, or they simply ignored my complaints and have been jerking me around for the past month.

A simple: “Nope, sorry, can't do it” would have been 100x better than having to go through all this BS back and forth. Which is precisely why I'm here again.
Wasting my time and writing more BS for something so superfluous, so that you think twice before jumping hoops like I did. Trust me, it's not worth it.

Email Chain + Timeline (EST timezone):

April 18th (Friday, 3:45am):

Up to this point, everything seems standard, and an acceptable response.
However, note that they mentioned “EARLY next week”.
So I wait until Tuesday night, to see something change, but to my surprise, nothing.

I look at this, and I'm thinking: “are they dumb or am I?”
I never said that I need the PT AI to be generated on that scene.
If anything, regenerated, but their response doesn't indicate that.

I went with the “can you draw it for me” approach, because from my previous email exchanges it seemed like they required it.
Based on their reply, I was right.
It took them 48h to answer me with this, but their answer clearly showed that they fully understood what I was requesting.

At this point, I was pissed off already.

I didn't even bother replying to this email, because I don't see the point in wasting more time on this issue.
They clearly don't care enough to do the bare minimum, which is to READ THE GODDAMN EMAIL.
I mean, come on, I even made a freaking drawing of the issue. What else do you want from me?
The sheer amount of incompetency that I have seen from the beginning of this email chain has made me lose brain cells.

I hope that whoever actually bothered to fully read this post, gets to this point, and is laughing out loud.
I know I sure am.

    As for the video — I checked “Pass-Through: Lana on Demand”, and you're right, the AI PT option isn't showing up. Something seems off here, and we're going to take a closer look.
