Zoom in and out speed is now too fast?

Funny I noticed this as well. I thought it was something I was doing.

When using Passthrough AI you need precision zooming to get things lined up just right.

I have to say, I absolutely LOVE Passthrough AI especially in CG sitting up.

JordanSLR Could you please tell the program people to add SLIDE control as an option to be able to add to the controller. I can setup everything to the controller except SLIDE. I use it for almost every video and have to pull up the menu to change it. Thanks

The importance to the members in this thread of the changed zoom control with the joystick is not being taken seriously.
The zoom in-zoom out is too fast on all videos with the joystick on the hand controllers on Quest 2 and 3s. Sorry to be blunt but it's friggin ridiculous that SLR Team missed this in an update now months ago and it hasn't been fixed despite the activity in this thread.
As mentioned it is particularly difficult to align the model in passthrough. Including JAV.
IT USED TO BE A NUDGE forward or backward of the model, and now it's something that is a pain in the butt. Really flubs up the immersion to deal with this when it was fine in all my prior time here on SLR.
Suggest two things: One that you get on board with the members above and get it fixed, and two, that you add a speed control in the settings panel to the said joystick, since one person mentioned that they like the fast zoom.
"You" means SLR.
I just got a Quest 3s and dealing with this is such a spoiler of the immersion. Very hard to line up without opening the side panel for the zoom.

bazzio Let's hope they add a control for the speed so you can have it fast. There are controls for everything else, like adjusting the time for the "skip ahead" and rewind with the joystick, I change the times of skip ahead frequently with the setting gear. Seems like child's play for their engineers to add this setting.

I'm glad I'm not alone, and @Virdiron that's exactly correct, I noticed it immediately two Deo updates ago.

Hoping for a setting to adjust the speed of the joystick zoom per user.

@JordanSLR It happens to be too fast on every SLR video I'm streaming. I have not watched VR files onboard the Q2 to test it.

Yes. The zoom speed is now absurd. Nearly unusable now in terms of trying to get the correct sizing.

I'm surprised that something like this, which is a significant detriment to usability, is taking so long to remedy. It was functioning perfectly, and then an update wrecked it.

Can the problem not be duplicated? Difficult to believe the solution could be so difficult.
