I use the Apple Vision Pro and the WebXR player to watch SLR videos. Earlier this year I noticed that my hands/arms were bleeding into the environment and that the SLR WebXR player wasn’t requesting Hand/Eye tracking anymore. I reached out to SLR and I was told that the response from the developers is that “the visibility of hands through the VR environment is intentional and functioning as designed”.

Having my hands bleeding into the VR environment is inconvenient to me personally because my hands will usually be blocking the action. It also takes away from the immersion to see my own arms/hands on top of the performers. I’ve tried tilting the entire scene to keep my hands out of the action and even putting a clothing on top of my hands to block them, but everything I’ve tried has made things very inconvenient and almost unusable, I know that us AVP users are a small group, but I’m wondering if other headset users have had hand-tracking removed as well or if it’s just us AVP users being left beside to limitations or something.

If not, the option to turn hand tracking on/off would be great.

    SpatialGooner Hey,
    Thank you for your feedback!
We are sorry to hear that it has caused you some inconvenience.
We have forwarded your feedback to the team for discussion 🙌

doublevr Yeah it's mind boggling that we can't have PT on the AVP. I still love mine but honestly I turn a lot to the Quest3 simply because of PT. Maybe if a jailbreak gets released one day that we can get PT. But other than that I'm looking forward to the Samsung/Google headset, hopefully later this year.
