Hey everyone,
We’ve rolled out a new feature in the DeoVR app: Passthrough AI Cams! It’s live now for you to dive in and enjoy, and we’re testing it to explore how it works in action. This is just the start, we’re excited to see where it takes us! If you try it out, we’d love to hear your feedback.

Was there a certain requirement for performers to have PT?

Will it be available to all VR cams eventually?

    jommy technically it's available for almost everyone with a good GPU. Just a question of model preference and some additional training. We expect at some point most of cam girls will have it on. In the next 1–2 weeks, we plan to have 10–20 models live with PT at the same time, and more will follow.

        This is incredible tech and definitely a worthwhile consideration.

        I totally understand this is testing phase, but as you have asked for feedback...

        For me the biggest issue as i have mentioned to @kieshi is that currently the framerate drops dramatically using Passthrough and Sharpness - This needs to be resolved as 27 fps makes me feel sick and looks a bit crap.

        Also the Saturation is broken with artifacts in cams after about +6.

        Other than that as a test this looks really good and i don't say that lightly.

        Obviously i would prefer to see girls that are to my taste and the biggest issue with VR cams is that they are not just catering to VR but flat aswell so are usually to far away from the cam with zero intimacy - so unless we get dedicated VR cams then that issue will always be there.

          That's a cool tidbit of info, it's always nice to hear when studios/models are improving their VR setups and are open to new things

            Silly-Sausage the biggest issue with VR cams is that they are not just catering to VR but flat aswell so are usually to far away from the cam with zero intimacy - so unless we get dedicated VR cams then that issue will always be there.

            I also see a fair few performers that pretty much ignore the VR cam whether it's because it's a million miles away, they're 70% out of frame, poor lighting or no eye contact 😆 I've tried throwing tokens their way and gently giving advice, even going private but some just don't really care haha

            However there are a bunch of girls that are super professional and skilled at VR interaction whilst also performing to 2D at the same time, for example if the 2D cam cannot see their face, they'll gladly look at the VR camera

            Or some will stack the 2D cam ontop of the VR so both get a great view

            I don't know if this is turning into a request thread for PT cammers but.. 😆

                I'm a bit of a moaner usually, but this one i totally understand that they can't cater to everyone as VR and flat and whatever format cam girls use is all part of their business to make money, so unless i pay for a private chat and they still don't cater to me then i have no reason to complain and enjoy what i get as a bonus.

                But again, the issue is it's not really catering to a dedicated user base and doesn't really fulfill it's full potential IMO - It's a tricky balance of asking people to pay for dedicated VR cams.

                However, every now and again, i fall lucky, and when the girls know how to seduce the viewer close up in VR, it can be incredible.

                The thing i don't think i will ever understand is the directors or pornstars still don't seem to get that VR intimacy and closeness to the camera is the key to a good scene or cam session, i honestly don't think they watch porn !

                      I noticed some videos in deovr com finally have AI PT, will more videos be getting this AI treatment?

                      And I mentioned this before and i think it's possible to make ai pt edges looks better, I said could the AI make the backgrounds black and then add the AI pt so this way the background is less noticeable with ai pt on, i think it's possible because there's a studio called passthroughvr and the backgrounds are grayed out but the model is still in color, could be something to look into, might work.
