I've started experiencing an issue where haptics disappear from videos after a time of extended usage in one day.
After this time 99 in 100 videos that show haptics or AI haptics lose their heatmaps and the message "there is no script for this video yet" (or something similar) shows in the menu in the video, even though I know there is and was just a few minutes previously. But, on some videos, very few, it will be available. For the time up to this though, every video that showed haptics available worked perfectly fine. It's almost like it's telling me "That's enough for today" 😆

This is on Meta Quest 3 with DeoVR. I've tried quitting the app, turning the Keon off and back on, restarting the headset, logging out of and back into SLR on DeoVR, none of this brings it back. If I then turn it off overnight, they're all back again. But then it happens again after a period of usage again.

Is there a limit to how many scripts, or length of time we can use haptics in a period, or something like that? Has anyone heard of this issue before?

Thanks

snakecharmer560, hi! It looks like you’ve hit the daily script streaming limit. This is part of our Fair Use policy to keep things fair for everyone. Don’t worry—it resets daily, so you’ll be able to use scripts again soon

JordanSLR I see. Is this written anywhere? And what is the limit?

I do understand, in a way, but we've paid for a premium service here, and in the FAQ it's stated "Users with the Script + Premium bundle can stream unlimited scripts." so this doesn't really align, since the words "stream unlimited scripts" is used. When does unlimited become limited?

snakecharmer560, I am afraid we cannot share further details about the limit. In case you hit it you can submit a request here and support team will assist you.

JordanSLR This happened to me too. I can see how you don't want to share details about the limit, but it would be nice if we got a message when reaching it: I thought something was broken and wasted a bunch of time restarting to check if it was "fixed" yet. Even better would be some warning when approaching the limit.

@snakecharmer560 @rigrig @SchnuppiLilac Just a small clarification regarding this matter:

The script limit was introduced as an essential security measure to help prevent misuse.
This Fair Use policy has been carefully designed based on typical usage patterns across our user base, and even our most active users are rarely affected by it.
That said, we are always open to reviewing and adjusting the script limit if it causes any inconvenience. Our priority is to provide the best possible user experience, and we’re pleased to see this feature is so well-received by the community.
We will investigate this issue and how the situation can be improved.
