We are still exploring and fine tuning for the best quality
Codecs are just a tool - AV1 in principal may be more efficient on paper than most other codecs.
However, the skill is down to the operator using the tools and variables at their disposal to create a video file with a good balance of quality to file size - Going by feedback SLR still need to find a good balance and maybe needs tweaking ? - I noticed a lot of issues with bitrate mentioned !

There are no open questions of balance of quality to file size. People are looking to get higher numbers to get happy. Quality is not changing. Compare it with 200Mpbs Originals and tell me difference with screenshots.

Doesn't low bitrate cause blurring when something moves fast? How are we supposed to show that with a screen shot?
rerun119 Low bitrate causes blurring everywhere but encoders lower the quality more in the moving parts of the image.
