We’re also exploring on-the-fly script modifications (think “climax mode” and more) in future updates. Just make sure you’ve updated your Handy to the latest firmware, and dive in!

Note: Since Firmware v4 is still in Beta, we recommend reporting any issues you encounter. If necessary, you can revert to the previous stable version.

I upgraded yesterday.
Tried a few minutes ago.
I downgraded back to FW3
The bluetooth connection is not working, meaning DEOVR cannot find the device.
The WIFI connection gets disconnected after 2 minutes or so (this error should be from the handy itself)

    I have 2 Handy's one on FW3 and the other on FW4.

    With the latest DeoVR update FW4 worked flawlessly 12 hours ago. No disconnects and direct starting of scripts, this is with wifi connection.

      valba Does the issue still persist?

          bazzio ...the main thing that was putting me off was FW4 was that it was interpreting scripts differently than FW3 at first, but i think they ironed that out now. Have you noticed any difference? Quite looking forward to moving to FW4...

              The bluetooth is still not working.
              But the app of handy on the phone is connecting to it through bluetooth.

                      The connection of the handy through bluetooth to DEOVR is better than do it through internet.
                      I'll wait with the update. the FW3 works, i don't really have the need to move to FW4
                      by the way, is there any way i could retrieve logs to send them to you?

                          valba I think Handy plans to discontinue BT scripts connection for FW4. At some point I would expect FW3 to be deprecated as well. Probably taking years for that to happen.

                          Can you suggest what do you mean with logs?

                              Logs, you know. FIle that contains the actions that happens with the Handy/DeoVR:
                              connections, errors, warnings, etc.

                                        BT is changed on FW4. In order to have the same naming, services and characteristics as FW3 device, the user needs to enable Legacy BT mode.
