  • New SLR Scenes so sharp and crisp, how?

Has the team done a recent tutorial or guide for those of use using the canon system to get similar results? I have noticed that the team is doing some nice denoising and sharpening lately that looks absolutely crispier than anything I have seen before. Any insight or guide on how to get such a crisp image out of that R5C would go a long way. Is any of this being done with AI or Mistika, what sorcery is it?

So far the best results I have achieved were editing and rendering the raw files directly on mistika boutique and then doing a final render on premiere to h.265 with 120MB bitrate. It's better than using the canon vr utility and then doing a final render on premiere which adds a lot of little artifacts and compression but it's still good for everyday use.

I am currently trying to work with raw, color grade, and sharpen on mistika boutique and do final renders in h.265 to avoid a second render step with another software.

jommy just all the SLR scenes released in the last 3 months or so. I know they have been shooting with the R5C system and they had the modded IPD canon lens but they are just so damn crisp. I'm just curious what the heck they are doing to process either denoising or sharpening. It almost seems like they are running them though TopazAI but to do that on 8k is borderline insane unless you are on some quantum computer

doublevr yea but what processing is being done? Its so damn good, they almost look like you are running them through topaz to clean and sharpen, which sounds insane for 8k video, unless... you are running each eye separately... hahaha
