xj10zk08 A couple of years ago I thought that harems would be attractive content that would attract thousands of users, but apparently it is not a popular category.
Glad to meet another harem fan. 🍻 But yes, harems have always been a niche category. It's not a scene for everybody, but it doesn't mean they should not be produced every now and then. Harem scenes attract a lot of attention, are great for marketing, shake things up from the usual BG/BGGs that can get stale, make a statement to the rest of the industry, and most importantly create a fantasy that is beyond the reach of normal reality.
This last part is the most important aspect of harems to me. VR harems is the closest one can ever achieve to this kind of dream. What better use of VR than to make something so unattainable to the regular Joe, into an experience one can watch over and over again in the headset. It's the truest form of fantasy.
And harems CAN be popular. Dream Team is the 2nd highest liked scene on the entire site. It has been re-done as a PMV dozens of times. It is a crowd favorite, won the AVN, and is a staple to SLR's catalog. The other harem scenes did not do as well, but the cast wasn't as strong. They are still amazing feats of VR, and I believe SLR/Nash should want to try and surpass what was one of the greatest achievements in VR industry. Why not keep pushing and elevating?
