Hide and Fave settings - how do they work?

So I know their basic functioning - I can choose an actress to hide, and I dont see any videos
I can choose a fave actress and I get notifications whenever anything new comes up.

So.... Supposing an actress I have hidden shoots a video with another woman that I have "favorited"? Do I get a notification? Is the video hidden?

Same goes for a studio I have hidden - what happens if they have a video with a favorite actress?

If you hide a performer, all existing videos with that performer will be hidden, no matter if there's another favorited performer in it. I would assume when hiding studios it is the same. Notifications I don't know.
