If you have any questions or concerns about your purchase, please follow SLR refund procedure. Failing to do so or initiating an unauthorized chargeback will result in a permanent ban on SLR.

doublevr Real talk: most SLR users are not on the Forums I imagine. If such an act carries such a permanent decision/punishment, then I would argue you should make a post on SLR app/website itself so that it is not a surprise to anyone.

svanir mmmmm, its pretty standard. If you pay for something, and cancel the payment, that card is going to be blocked.

"Friendly Fraud"/First Party Fraud is a significant threat to all merchants who accept cards, and especially adult merchants like SLR.

Mastercard estimates that 70% of all "fraud" claims are friendly fraud. Visa estimates the figure is even higher, at 75%.

We're proud to do things ethically at SLR. We don't do sneaky and illegal bullshit like forcing "network" cross-sells you can't opt out of. We're transparent about our billing descriptors so you know what that charge on your statement is, (while protecting your privacy, and we honour unsubscribe requests. When things go wrong and a refund is justified, we issue it without messing about.

We play fair, and we expect everyone else to do the same.

This isn't anything to worry about; in fact this should give you the confidence that if you invest in an SLR subscription, your money will be used to pay the creators who make the content you love, and won't be used to subsidise people who don't play nicely.

I can name a counterexample for each of those, although they aren't related to billing (chill out with the ban hammer, i wont say anything). But in terms of billing, I've found SLR to be pretty good and I'm fully supportive of SLR cracking down on fraud.
