doublevr Super old but I think I finally was able to replicate close that that super sharp quality using my R5C as well. For the longest time I have been using the canon VR utility and exporting max 8k h.265 files to then render again on premiere after some color grading and everything just had extra compression. Dont get me wrong, I was still getting better looking footage than half of the smaller studios on your site but it just never got anywhere near as good as your recent content. Finally I have broken some major ground using mistika boutique and a topaz plugin. Not sure if this is what you do or if its been already openly shared but damn that took me a while to crack. Also, I dont keep it as fisheye, I do the whole equirectangular conversion because I have not figured out the fisheye workflow and I will also never shoot a PT scene using alpha masks, if I do PT content I will simply keep as greenscreen and equirectangular. But I'm sure I could render a bit faster if I dont convert to equirectangular and just keep fisheye, but thats another undertaking for another time.
I know nobody cares but even though my editing rig was rendering .09 frames per second haha I finally got those razor sharp visuals. Maybe I will start to publish some super short clips on DeoVR now that I am finally happy with my results until I can finally upgrade my PC to render much faster.
Anyways just wanted to share my progress for anyone interested
