I don't remember anyone mentioning this but credit where it's due, I can finally scroll, click a video, scrub through to see how it goes, then hit back and instead of having to scroll from the top again it takes me back to where I left off. I guess among myriad other problems the new site has it may not have been worth mentioning but for me that's such an improvement as it was the only site I've encountered that had that problem.
On the other hand now I can't double tap to fast forward anymore so I guess one quality of life improvement is implemented, another one removed. I'm curious as to why that seems to be SLR's design philosophy. Instead of adding features to what's already good, at least one good thing has to be subsequently removed.
