Correct, I don't use the 'for you' page at all, however I don't diagree there should be a better way to track what you have watched.
Given my preference to download and watch later I'm often just downloading vids I might like, and store them in a playlist called, predictably enough "downloaded". Unfortunately that leaves me with no other way of knowing if I've downloaded a video before as there's no instant way of telling if a video is in your playlist (without going into the video page and checking).
