Onyx+ works locally but not with interactive VR videos

So recently got my Onyx+ / slr interactive / slr VR app working on my oculus GO following the documentation.

Locally everything works fine - slr interactive app connects to onyx+ slr VR App connects to slr interactive and everything works fine - but only on local files...

Whenever I stream a interactive video on the SLR app I don't see the fleshlight icon appear like it does in local playback mode.

Help?
