I have Q3, newest deovr, tried V3 and V4 handy, on wifi with token. It connects to slr in deovr, shows heatmap, but nothing happens. Never says the "sending script" message

I just saw that there is another thread for this

Wasgehthier oh that, yeah basically everyone is having that issues at the moment. They said they are working on it and will post a formal update when they get it fixed

sorry if this has been asked before, but if I purchase the bundle and get 150 gb , * 150GB of complimentary storage expires Jul 12, 2025.

What if I use all the storage, and i'm at 180 gb for example. and it goes past jul 12, 2025, will files get deleted, can I still have 180 gb of storage after? how does this work?

@doublevr Many of the videos I uploaded can't be scripted because they exceed the max height/width for h264 code as it is 4320 x 2160. Are there any plans to increase video size limitation or is that just not something that is possible?

I have a question regarding the "Tokens" I thought we got 2 free credits every month, however this month I got none, is this intended?
I did have 2 already processed videos from last month (2 Tokens I got in march), but I removeed them, just in case, that they were blocking my free tokens.

      Thanks!

A feature in the future, autodetect time stamps and scene changes so we can customize those if we want too.

      Bt update??

Any word on when we might be able to expect 2D to 3D conversion? And, will we be able to run said vids thru passthrough as well in 2D to 3D AND Passthrough?

Instead of tying everything to permanent Drive storage, there’s a much cleaner, smarter model you should seriously consider:

Users upload their video temporarily β†’ SLR processes it (AI script / AI passthrough) β†’ users download the outputs β†’ uploaded video is deleted immediately.

No permanent storage. No streaming. No ongoing cloud overhead.

Reasons why this would be massively better for both users and SLR's bottom line:

      • Inbound upload traffic is free on basically all cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

      • AI script generation costs are proportional to video resolution and length, not file size, so it's predictable and scalable.

      • The output files (scripts/masks) are tiny (I guess), a few megabytes at most, so egress (download) cost is trivial.

      • You eliminate the biggest recurring cost: long-term cloud storage and streaming. Permanent storage for massive VR video libraries is extremely expensive over time, whether users actively stream or not.

      • You also eliminate user complaints about storage quotas, subscription renewals, expiration dates, streaming-only access, and other clunky UX problems.

Pricing could be clean and simple:

      • Flat fee per AI passthrough generation (e.g., $5–$10 depending on video length and resolution).

      • Flat fee per AI script generation.

      • No confusing credit systems, no storage plans, no wasted tokens.

      In short:

      • Users get exactly what they want (processed files they can own and use locally).

      • No storage limits

      • SLR massively cuts infrastructure costs (storage, streaming, bandwidth).

      • You avoid copyright risk from storing third-party content long term.

      • You simplify billing and increase adoption from casual users who just want to process their collections without monthly commitments.

The current Drive model is bloated, expensive, and frustrating for the majority of users.
This would be a cleaner win for both sides.

Users actually own the product, which is much more ethical than your rental proposals. In fact' I'd go so far as saying your current model is exploitative and user hostile.

Surely you can determine a pricing model that has similar profit margins as your current proposal.

jontytt You avoid copyright risk from storing third-party content long term.

Just a guess but I think this had something to do with it. American companies would sue you. I tried to tell them.
Same goes for the AI face changer they have been talking about. That will get you sued to oblivion. The second someone makes a porn with a girl he knows and she finds out. It's over

jontytt I like this vision. I also believe it was due to either copyright or bandwidth.
If SLR did decide to use this approach; they should allow users to download their current masks/scripts before deleting the drive and it can be beneficial for both parties.
Users can retain their monetary value spent on clips and SLR can test a new infrastructure that allows users to download their videos.

jontytt that's a great write up πŸ‘ really appreciated.
Has to be cloud if we are serious about things. It has no future if it's not cloud.
