I've observed for a while now that I seem to get a ton of notifications therefore never really used the system. Looking closer I just realized that I seem to get only notifications for the studios I've hidden and not studios/artists that I've favorited. Anyone else experiencing this? Have I accidentally activated a secret reverse setting?

You may want to check your notification settings: https://www.sexlikereal.com/user/notifications and the notification settings on those individual "hidden" studios.
"hidden" can be a separate setting than "no notifications". IOW: you can hide a studio's scenes but still get notifications if you "Turn on notifications".
Or if you've Hearted a studio and you have " Studios - You'll receive notifications about videos from studios you've favorited. " turned on in your Notifications settings. Note: accidental "hearting" is possible with a simple mis-aimed click.
There's some complicated logic between the multiple options, so its possible you'll get what seem like inconsistent results.
It feels like weekly I'll get some notification for some random scene/studio/model/niche I never favorited or set notifications for--I suspect some monkey wrench in the backend.
I see it now, notifications are all activated for the studios I've hidden. Strange, I certainly never actively activated them. Would make more sense to me to automatically turn on notifications for thing I like and not things I hide..
Anyway, thank you for your help, I'll clean up the mess in my settings.
