I download and had the idea to start hiding videos I already have, so I can more easily see what I don't have or videos I haven't seen already, that get buried in the 20000+ videos on the site...
But I or another user doing something similar might want to still be able to stream these videos from the app instead of from their computer sometimes.
I first thought of having 2 separate 'Hidden' lists..
- Videos you have downloaded already, but may still want to stream in the future (videos you already know about and just want to hide to more easily find new content)
- Videos you never want to see again.. 400lb homeless transgender grandma videos as an example
But if that's too difficult to implement, maybe add a toggle like for compilations/JAV/Passthrough for Show Hidden Content
This way a user can quickly hide videos they already own or have seen enough times already while looking for new content, but also have the ability to quickly show them again, because they're still videos they might like and want to stream from time to time
For example, if I have all Maria Rya videos downloaded.. I can mark them as 'Already Own' to hide them when browsing for new content, but toggle them back on if I want to still stream them. And I can put 400lb homeless grandma videos on a stricter hidden list like we have now, to where it wouldn't be toggled back on.. you would have to go into your profile and unhide that specifically if you wanted to ever see it again.
Hope that was clear enough.. I was having ideas as I typed. This would make finding new content easier for long-term users.. not having the same videos recommended often, but then when they do want to see some of their favorites or what they own already, they just hit the toggle switch and those videos show up again.
