Any chance you could reupload "Living the High Life" with Aubree Valentine? The audio is completely messed up, both streaming and playing a downloaded copy. It sounds like it might be an audio processing issue as opposed to a capture issue, so maybe something fixable? If not, confirmation would be appreciated as well.

I commented this issue on the scene itself but not a word.

justsomedude101 Just skimmed thru video from start till the middle, sound is good, I didn't have any problems on Quest 2, what's your device

Philip Using a Valve Index. Downloaded the 6k h.265 11.54GB file.

Playing the downloaded file, the sound is just extremely poor quality. I mean "recorded through a walkie-talkie" sound quality, and for most of the video it is about twice as loud through the left channel as the right channel. It's not just "oh lame, the sound quality is bad", it's actually poor enough to ruin the experience.

Playing the streaming version: same thing. Both streaming with the "spatial audio" toggle on & off produced the same issues with sound-quality as above.

This is the first time this specific audio issue has come up in hundreds of hours streaming and playing downloaded scenes from SLR, so no idea. Every other scene from SLR still sounds as it always did.

Could very well be a one-off issue for some reason, so if it sounds good to you might not be worth chasing. Hope this isn't the new norm though for non-Quest 2 users.

The sound does appear to be more on the left channel. It's not that bad with spatial turned on but if you listen for it you can still hear it. In normal stereo it's pretty strong and I have it with all files, including the original, both on PC and Quest 2 native.

It also sounds a bit sterile, like the low tones are suppressed.

Rakly3 Yeah, it might sound ok w/ spatial audio, but that's not really useable on the Index in its current state sadly. Hopefully some day.

This could have just been unfixable and "one of those things" since it's never come up before, but thanks for checking regardless.
