fenderwq I just found out about this camera and the thread for it in the last couple days. However you said, "You ARE seeing a downsampled version of that". Based on what SLR responded with in that thread they haven't started using it yet, and will release the first scene with it in September at the earliest. Im not sure about other companies/studios, but people just started getting the camera shipped to them. I emphasized your present tense usage because it would be disappointing if it was already being used because none of the vids look great at all in midground or background (lots of noise), which would suggest no one is using the cam yet.
Also, i hope they offer a 12k or 16k download for AVP since it can play those files, and for future high end headsets, and not just 8k downsampled. In fact Im going to ask about that
