Currently toggling 6DoF does not make a difference for me, except that I can no longer move the dome, which makes my experience worse.
I would imagine that true 6DoF requires scenes to be filmed to specifically support 6DoF. And I assume the result is that I can move around in a scene and see it from different angles.
- What does the experimental 6DoF feature in DeoVR currently achieve?
- What could it be capable of in the future?
- Is SLR currently allocating resources to get it to that future state?
