Wait, what about other non Meta/Apple/Android/iOS like Reverb G2? Once phased out I can't access legacy DeoVR while Hyper not supported?

I would love it if you consider trying to improve video quality/ bitrate on the new app.
I get better quality/ bitrate streaming 8k videos on Youtube. Maybe the AV1. Codec will help.
Hyper sounds great, but I am little bit confused.
PT & PT AI, Drive and Build Your Own Journey (BYOJ) + Universal Configurations. Those are all the main selling points for SLR Premium membership. If I get pretty much everything only using Hyper why to spend money to SLR? Unless SLR does it even better....

and was met with "GearVR no longer available for this device" nooooooooo! Felt like a puppy love break up bro, a punch to gut feeling, inside I felt depressed bro literally 
That was my baby bro, my fuck machine, had a fucking blast with it for like 5 to 6 years, skyboxvr at that time was all I needed bro, all my files streamed from my PC to the gear vr, literally my own library

So excited for this new player! DEO is the best player out there, at least for my purposes, so excited to see what the team can bring with this!
One gripe I have with DEO is that you can't choose your own thumbnail/poster/image for the local videos, just a screenshot from the mid-point of the video. Would be so good if this feature could be considered for Hyper.

doublevr thanks for the tip. I've heard of SLR Drive but tbh uploading my files and then streaming them undoes the reason I downloaded them in the first place. My streaming speed sucks and my viewing style is to skip around the video quite a bit, so at the moment my only viable option is to download and playback locally
sickpuppies uploading your videos for PT is totally different than downloading them as you mentioned. Your reason is still valid for downloading, no sweat there. Uploading is an additional feature, that if not you, plenty others, will benefit from
There must be some plan to monetize this new app in some way - otherwise why bother? DeoVR is fine in my book

Just stumbled upon this thread after DoubleVR mentioning Hyper in another thread....
I dont know if you have something like this planned for the release BUT it most definitely should be integrated in if it isn't yet.....
The single greatest help feature would be a way to finally be able to quickly tag videos with custom time frames. Say I am watching hours of porn one day and like 20-30 different videos. WHILE I watch the vid if one part of that vid just rocks me I want to be able REALTIME to save that timeframe. Otherwise it can be quickly missed once you get caught up in another video as you switch back and forth during an SLR VR session. And obviously no one wants to stop their session just to write down what that time frame was as you are kinda caught in the moment lol.
And once you capture that timeframe realtime in the DeoVR/SLR interface it should default to a custom name (ideally the video name- time tag section (ex. Cowgirl, missionary etc.)- user cut scene X (X would go up with each new capture). But also given opportunity to update/customize the name if so desired. This would drastically minimize excessive loss of immersion while live watching the video since the custom time tag with default naming is so easy to do.
The last master programming piece would be to automatically have those cut scenes generate in a Automated Playlist on the SLR site called something like 'User Cut scenes'. Each cut scene would have the automated default title or your customization of that title should you choose to change it on the DeoVR app. So now you can easily access everyone of those custom time frames you chose in earlier porn watching sessions in a singular playlist.
Lastly , have those custom timeframe be linkable with the NEW BYOJ creator interface. Imagine instead of having to input all that stuff in the BYOJ creator for each scene/episode you now have an option to use a drop down menu with any of your custom cut scenes.
That would make creating BYOJ video probably 300-400% faster. And give users a playlist of straight SEX CAFFEINE of all their multiple favorite parts of each video without having to look again for it!
It would be really nice to hear some feedback on this suggestion because I think it makes tremendous sense and would increase the utility and experience of the DeoVR/ SLR website/interface drastically .

Aesthetics That would be really incredible if you successfully create that feature.
It truly would be a whole nother level of customization and being able to watch all your favorite portions of a video.
