  • Is there any way to improve the passthrough brightness in DeoVR?

I'm using Quest 3 (all the updates made and latest version of Deo VR player).

The lighting in my room looks bright and crisp when I use passthrough view in Quest 3's start (home screen).
But when I start a session DEO VR app and watch videos with PT my room looks significantly darker and dimmer in same lightning.

I notice the difference when I end my session with DeoVR and move out of the app to the Quest 3 home screen.

So... Is there any way to improve and adjust the passthrough brightness of camera view in DeoVR app? Brightness of the VR videos are fine... Only the cam view is the problem.

I have tried to find settings in the app without success. Would it be possible to add camera view settings to the DeoVR?

Thanx!

Axxipiter In the DeoVR PT settings, there is 'camera layer opacity'. If this is set to less than the default 100 %, the PT camera image will look darker than what you see outside of DeoVR. Maybe worth checking if the level has been lowered in your case.

    2 ways bro
The actual meta brightness effects the pt brightness, and there's a slider named "camera layer opacity" in the pt options in the deo player. This effects only the the background light. Which is pretty cool, you can lower it and make it look like a noir vr video.
In the accessibility options you can add contrast too, this will also effect pt if you use it.

If that doesn't help bro it could be the headset updates, mines been acting up, I'm on vr71 apparently it's the beta version so it will have bugs.

I used my pt last night, I didn't really notice anything, it was working fine, I'll take a look again.

Check that "camera layer opacity" bro, maybe it got lowered some how. 🤷‍♂️

    Hope it fixes bro 👍
