We see a lot of watchtime coming from suggested feed as we keep improving it. Will be a brand new search with proper ranking. As well as oped in opening of most watched segments in the app instead of opening a video from the start.
Are suggestions are good for the video you've just opened?
I think it's pretty good, I am generally satisfied with it. It seems to be adapted to what I watch and favorite the most which i like, while also offering some variety. I personally prefer when it opens at the start of the video, so as long as the option to start the video from the start is there, I will be happy.
Much better than previous, but there is still fundamental "problem". Every time I check the "For You" -tab more than half of the recommendation I have already watched. In fact I have added those to my Library into different Playlists or made them BYOJ videos. I think SLR should improve algorithm not to show videos you have already added to your library playlists.
Other way around is to make still one more feed/tab. We can name it "suggested but not watched" -tab. This way you can retain current feed mainly for new users and "advanced new feed" for old and long time users. This way both groups would spend more time with SLR finding new and suitable videos to his/her own taste.
I always click on "new". I'm all caught up so just want to see new scenes personally.

Me too, But I'll re-like most of the first "for you" page, most times it might be vids I watched but definitely videos would watch again so I just unlike and like again to keep em close by...
Ever think of an old scene, but can't remember who's in it by name? Then, when you try to find it, you’ve got way too many liked videos, watch history or playlists to go through? Lol, you never end up finding it. That bugs me, it's like trying to find a song you’ve heard but don’t know the name of. That bugs the shit out me. 
If you have noticed recommendation feed is refreshed every time you open it.
Should be better now. Released some big update not long ago and seeing much better numbers in watchtime and likes.

Yeah, its better. I find myself clicking Recommended scenes more often recently--rather than before when it was 90% just using my playlists.
Mines is garbage now, it's basically just another SLR originals advertising board, there's 9 videos that are not SLR originals videos even though i haven't liked or watched a single SLRO video in over 6 months.
Of those 32 videos SLRO videos, 10 of them are passthrough, i cannot stand passthrough and will never watch or buy a passthrough video.
8 of the 9 non SLRO videos recommended are videos i would never watch, don't know why it would be recommended to me because none of the performers are someone i've searched for (most of them are actually the polar opposite of what i'd search for), favourited or even seen before while the final video is an old scene i've already watched.

For anyone else who wants this, there is more than 1 passthrough category so you have to do it for each of them.
Wow, was going to say something last week about how good the "For You" tab has become. Was blown away today I was saying to myself "wow, lots of really good new videos just released". But it was the "For you" tab. lol.
Good job on the recommendations functionality, dug up a lot of stuff I did not know was out there that are my preferences.
I dislike the fact it changes when you watch one or change pages and try to go back. I saw a bunch I wanted to check out, but they moved around off of page 1.

Sometimes I like the recommendations feed and sometimes it's really stale and recommends the same studio on multiple pages (studios I rarely watch)
I thought it would recommend videos that I regularly watch but either it doesn't, or really inconsistently
This is also true when I look at a studio page and recommendations tab: It'll not prioritise videos I regularly watch which is surprising
I'm sure it's a pain in the butt to perfect but i'd take a look at why it has multiple videos per page from the same studio that are not often watched and maybe consider giving regularly watched videos higher priority

Yeah, that refresh issue is definitely frustrating. Feels like the algorithm could use some fine-tuning—would be way better if it actually prioritized what you actually watch. Hope they tweak it soon!

I can notice that something has changed but now my feed in DeoVR seems to be almost static for days and watched scenes will stay where they are. On the (old) website, the feed is entirely different but I am using the website only to check out new scenes but not for recommendations.
