Curious if we want to produce any trans or gay PT videos for SLR Originals.
These barely get any views on SLR. We will be rolling out updated functionality by the end of the year to unify straight and gay content making sure people who are searching for one are going to get it. Otherwise it's like a very small niche in a small niche of VR.
doublevr It has been mentioned multiple times that these sections are very well hidden and lack all the added-value functionalities of the main section, so I am not surprised that there are no views. On the website, even the most basic sorting functions don't work, which almost appears as if they were deactivated on purpose.
I would assume that the relatively poor infrastructure doesn't make SLR very attractive for third party content providers to upload their content. Over the last months/years, some studios only uploaded erratically although they have a regular release schedule on their own sites or on vrporn. Moreover, Grooby announced 3 weeks ago here in this forum that they will start releasing two scenes per week from now on. So far, nothing. Wondering what made them change their mind after having made that public announcement.
Regarding your question about PT, I am surprised that you would even ask that, considering that SLR does not produce any regular trans or gay content. Instead of SLR producing one PT scene and then stopping again, I would prefer getting AI PT working for those sections. And SLR making sure that the few studios that they will find conditions on SLR that make them willing to upload their content on a regular basis.
doublevr Whatever, man. As long as your filters and hide button are working properly, it doesn't really concern your predominantly straight users what other niches you introduce, as long as they don't replace the few SLROs we get each month.
I noticed there's no hide button for the 'Gay' and 'Transgender' categories yet, probably because they weren't public in the first place, but if you plan to make them public in the future, please ensure the button is there so I can hide them and add them to my list.

It would also be great to have an option to hide all the cams from my feed, they're just sitting there like annoying ads. And while we're at it, I'd like to bump a request I made before 'Filter by time' to hide short scenes that I don't intend to watch.
Seems like a bad idea. Like you said, VR is a niche in itself, PT a niche within that, and then gay/trans another super small niche within THAT! It really makes no sense. Sorry for that handful of ppl who are into that but they should also understand this.
I agree with all of this comment, the basic functions that apply to sorting, for example the "next video in line" never works on Transgender. At least when I sort all content by New, or trying to work within Studios. Leaving the videos going back to the thumbnail view is necessary. Really 4th class treatment overall when comparing to the straight porn.
Love to see the backgrounds vanish on the Solo Trans, that seems like something an Ai could manage. Try that soon. Love to see the whole Trans as Ai passthrough, but I don't know your technical pitfalls and failures with the Ai workflow.
@doublevr I'm happy to hear that you are at least thinking about what to do. Videos that mimic straight VR porn isn't necessary, there's a lot that can be done outside that limitation. Your original video with Casey Kisses showed some different thinking.
It would be great if SLR produced trans / gay content in general, the market is tiny so any content created will be beneficial to those that enjoy it
PT would be good since the CGI backgrounds can look super realistic but given the choice between more regular shoots vs fewer PT, right now i'd say more regular
The limited views will naturally change when the content is more visible and has an equally functioning UI as the straight category
But either way it's good to hear SLR is thinking about it
PT should be available for for those sections.

One thing about pt users who don't like pt , they didn't want pt in slr originals channel, I always said put it in its own separate studio channel, slrAR or slralpha.

Look up fittnessrooms on ph or xvids. It's an actual site all fitness and gym content.
We also need something like blacked.com in vr too, it's so much missing in vrp.

Bro, yall ever seen them vr short movies on meta TV? I watch sum of those and thought wow let's do this but of course with porn, like why are staying away from producing actual non pov stories, I mean you can add pov in some parts, but why are there no vrp scenes shot kinda of like a brazzers scene or something like aldut time or them meta TV short films but in vr but non pov and pov added.
One vr video I watched on meta TV was a Halloween party, I thought this be cool if there were sum sex or sum naughty hotties in this film. I think vr movies will become more rare in vr. It doesn't always have to be pov vrp.

The Trans videos have no previews when hovering the pointer over the timeline of the video in the headset. Seems like the most basic feature of SLR in Straight videos. This should have been done a long time ago.
moremellow The Trans section is lacking functionality that was considered industry standard 20 years ago such as categories and searching by performers....I wouldn't get your hopes up for any basic features to be added.

Pretty certain this is just supply / demand issues, you provide a regular, quality supply, and demand will uptick...

IIRC they are re-doing the UI or something, so it doesn't make sense to re-do only the trans category if they are re-doing it all - or maybe they are just re-doing the trans category, but it takes some time unfortunately
Hopefully we get it all integrated as one UI with the option to permanently hide sections similar to the JAV toggle, but I would also want to browse specific genres without typing in the search like it's 2005 
rerun119 I think it's more or less standard practice to keep those sections a bit out of the way of the main audience. On the SLR website, I think they should appear at the bottom of the hamburger button menu with all the main categories (now you have to click 'All categories' first to find them). In DeoVR, I think there is no indication at all that these sections exist. You need to type in the words into the search field to get there. If you put any videos on your personal 'Watch later' playlist on the website, they will not appear in your regular WL playlist but in a separated WL playlist only accessible within those sections. And there is almost no coffee in the lattes they serve in the trans section.

I don't know how it works because I don't look for it but it seems weird to hide porn on a porn site.
It's probably a mix of
Trans/gay content being much less popular and much fewer available VR videos so maybe not added originally during SLR's launch? Or perhaps added to the main UI briefly?
Didn't design the UI/website from scratch to provide a clear way to hide trans/gay users don't want to see
Quick and mish-mash way of adding trans/gay in a separate part of the website with minimal resources allocated, possibly due to much lower interest or a larger revamp of UI at a later date
