I purchased a Kiiroo Onyx+ and PowerBlow. I am using a Quest 3 and the DeoVR app. I am able to successfully pair the Onyx+ to the DeoVR app. The light stays a constant blue on the device (bluetooth connection). However when the scripts are running on the video, there is no action from the Onyx+, no matter where i select on the heat map. It just sits there doing nothing. I have even tried using the Haptics Connect app, same outcome. The device is recognized, constant blue light and no action from the toy. I even verified the same outcome on my Quest 2 headset. Just to verify it wasn't a bad device, I checked the Kiiroo app and the sample videos work just fine. I don't think it is an SLR account issue because the Kiiroo PowerBlow works just fine natively in the DeoVR app on both the Quest2/Quest 3.

Has anyone had a similar experience or know of a fix for this issue?

bbd43772 - In order to better pinpoint the issue, can you please try these troubleshooting steps?

    • Connect your Onyx+ in Haptics Connect app
    • Ensure 'Hello strokes' in settings are toggled ON
    • With your Onyx+ connected in Haptics Connect app, click on the Onyx+ in devices tab, and increase the 'speed' setting to something above 10, for example 15
    • Try skipping around to action in a few videos in the Sex toy scripts category

Please let us know if this helps

Connected the Onyx+ with Haptics Connect. Increased the speed setting well above 10, and verified Hello Strokes was on (did get hello strokes on the Onyx+). Still same issue as before. The player tab on the Haptics Connect shows the video on the DeoVR app at the correct time stamp and DeoVR sees the Haptics Connect as connected in the side menu of the video.

Edit: Also in Manual tab of the Haptics Connect the Onyx+ works just fine so the Onyx+ to Haptics Connect connection isn't an issue.

Just to try to narrow down the issue, I connected the Power Blow in Haptics Connect and also no action during the video, even though it works in DeoVR when connected directly. Don't know if it is an issue of PowerBlow not being properly supported or not.

bbd43772 once logged into your slr account on Haptics app browser go to the website device settings and pair it.

bbd43772 Hi, to follow up on this issue, Onyx+ is one of the few toys that need to be actually paired to your phone/quest before it will start working. Go to the system bluetooth settings (either on your phone for haptics connect, or the quest bluetooth menu for Quest). Then find and pair the Onyx+ there before connecting it to the app.
