SLR community rules

SLR Forum is a great place to connect and we really want to keep it open for discussion.

It's about time we get simple but effective rules in place.

Use common sense.
Don't argue with admins.

It's okay to bring up critical stuff about SLR and the forum has plenty of it.
It's another story once some users get repeatedly hostile about it and not able to move on. Admins are going to remove posts once it gets in back and forth stage and release a warning. Repeated violation or arguing with admins will result in a ban.

Forum has got much better place now and I'm super excited to keep things going. SLR has community values deep in heart. There is no one committed to make things cool in VR like we do.

Being critical is cool.
Being ANNOYING is NOT.

To draw some lines:

It's okay to say to you hate PT in PT discussion.
It's NOT OKAY to go from one thread to another telling how bad you hate it.
It's okay to question limits and tell how you hate them
It's NOT OKAY to stalk SLR staff demanding higher limits every time they post

I would have hoped for something more concrete than "use common sense" but this is a good start and I guess the rules can always be further refined from here.

And btw I previously got banned for one comment saying I hate PT in a PT discussion thread.

See, that's arguing again and you're risking yourself. Idk, man, don't ask me... I just come to the forums from time to time after work to check out the news about scenes and casting. I hope we get to keep the free speech feature, because I won't stay here if that's not the case, and I definitely don't want to get involved in politics.

As a mod in other spaces I can confirm guidelines are better than rules. As soon as you try to set rules all the clever little trolls try to exploit loopholes. Don't be a dick, don't be annoying. These seem very reasonable.

Good Example of Criticism

The scene was okay, could of been better; I loved the hottie models tho. However, could we book higher-profile pornstars next time? Additionally, more focus on specific preferences, like toe-sucking, would be appreciated. The picture quality was a bit off as well, so it might be worth looking into improving that.

Bad Example of Criticism

This studio has seriously gone to shit, They never book top pornstar performers, film the same shit over and over, never no toe sucking, and the picture quality has become trash, this studio literally has become the Walmart of VR porn.

Here's an idea, type your angry disrespectful criticism cuz you must and copy it into an ai and ask it to make your comment sound more polite or less negative, if you have a habit of being rude and cant resist being so rude with the criticism, some people do and it's an illness, its understandable but let AI help with that!

Be cool if slr fourm had some kinda AI for the comments, I can text my comment and use AI here in the comments to rewrite it if i choose to use. I use ai, but it gets annoying copying text, then use the ai app, get it rewritten, then come back and paste the new version. Be better and convenient just do that right here in comments. I mentioned this before. I mentioned many things before. 🤷‍♂️
