Im confused, I have oculus quest and want to know which one is 4k so I can play video smoothly on 60fs. Also how do many fps can i get on 5k/6k videos? Thank you
What are 1440p, 1920p and 2160p? Which one is 4k?
Huntercross14 You can't play 5K locally at 60fps. 1920 and 2160 practically the same. You can play those locally, for 5K you should try viewport streaming, it's your only option.
Philip thanks, also is it possible to download slr videos directly off vr headset? Because i have noticed the downloaded video is much clearer than streaming.
Huntercross14 Unfortunately just fr the website now.

You must download them in the website and put them in the headset by connecting the quest with usb or link cable, if your quest drive still have some room and privacy is not an issue (videos will be easily available from quest gallery)
If you have a pc windows you can alternatively stream from pc to your quest by setting a network drive in skybox vr (https://skybox.xyz/en/)
With a Mac, I had to use plex server (free)
Another option if you have a media server, is of course easier

Download & Transfer (recommended)
Download video(s) on your computer
On your computer, go to badoinkvr.com, make sure you are logged in and browse to the video of your choice.
In the downloading options choose, “Oculus Quest - 60fps”.
It might take a while to download the video because of the file size but it is for your own good! A higher bitrate and resolution means a heavier file, but a much better experience too.
Transfer your video(s) to your Oculus Quest
Connect your Oculus Quest to your PC using the charging cord.
You will be prompted to grant access to your PC within your Oculus Quest headset.
"VR-headset" will appear in your PC's file explorer. Copy your video(s) into the "Movies" directory on your Oculus Quest.
Note that if you are a Mac user, you will need to install Android File Transfer to transfer the video(s).
- Play the video!
