  • Why not have AI generated performers voices for calling viewer by name in scenes

Hey SLR,

I was looking at this suggestion in the LittleCapriceVrStudio thread to have a winner selected based on some means and have the scene shot with the winner's name mentioned by the model throughout the scene. I know something similar was done with Blake blossom on a SLR scene.

Sharing what I had posted in that thread

...This got me thinking, why can't we have the performer call the name of the individual viewer based on their account name for example.
AI could be trained to pick up the voice of the performer and just have to insert the viewer's name wherever some test name is called by her.
Maybe this is a great feature request to ask for from SLR as technical knowhow is required here.
I know this will have some privacy implications and also the consent of the model for her voice to be trained on by AI. Not sure how everyone feels about this.

But this will certainly bring immersion to another level, to be called by your name by your favorite performer.

Do you think this is possible on SLR @doublevr ? Also doesn't have to be username, maybe each user can specify the name they'd like to be called with. Maybe also give user the choice of how they'd like their name to be pronounced as this always differs.
Not sure if someone has suggested this already.

FYI: I see a potential issue where the performer's lips won't be synced with the name. But then again, AI can solve this tooπŸ‘Œ

alphaRonaldo changed the title to Why not have AI generated performers voices for calling viewer by name in scenes .

That's something really great. High on our roadmap. We want to simulate and gamify the whole thing

Getting there πŸ‘οΈ

Would love to cooperate with those looking to make it work

Yeah, Lot of ways this could be implemented. I haven't heard any vr platform having worked on such a thing. Great to hear this could be on your roadmap.

alphaRonaldo My only concern about this is the girls voice sticking out like a sore thumb and sounding like a robotic phone answering machine and bad lip sync when she speaks your name, but obviously voice simulation has come along way recently, but the brain can pick out this stuff subconciously and break immersion completely.

But in general sounds good in principal but execution gonna be a bit ropey - i'll give it another couple of years before it happens

Silly-Sausage I get what you're saying and would have thought the same a few years ago. I've seen how some AI voice models have grown to perfectly match someone's voice and this is seeming quite plausible. Have you seen AI generated voice for music covers where multiple singers AI voices are stitched for a single song.
And this won't be for the entire scene, just whenever she mentions the viewer by name. So hopefully a lil controlled. This will only get better as AI's capabilities improve.
And do you remember VRBangers having a studio where they faceswapped the performer(one was a Hime Marie) scene. I ain't asking for something that drasticπŸ˜†. Just that performer's lips should follow what the AI voice generates, and in short bursts.

Anyways it's on SLR how they implement it so that AI voice doesn't stick out and is stitched seamlessly. But keeping this optional should make it fine I guess. Just have a regular vid and in case you want it personalized with ya name, flip a toggle.

alphaRonaldo And this won't be for the entire scene, just whenever she mentions the viewer by name. So hopefully a lil controlled.

I would love to see this impletemented too as you know but IMO that is gonna cause issues, getting Ai to replicate and match a single word of a sentence that sounds natural will be very difficult and that's not even considering lip sync.

Even if done manually for every time she uses the 'live word' it is replaced it will take time and effort that studios will not want to pay for.

I hope i'm wrong, but it ain't gonna happen soon, i guarantee it - SLR prove me wrong πŸ™‚

Silly-Sausage Hey, I ain't saying it's gonna be easy or will be implemented right away.
Just here to get the ball rolling.
If you look at AI passthrough for example, the early masks were just crazy. It has come a long way today, wouldn't you agree.

Defintinitey agree with you and good to see a bit of passion on this forum πŸ™‚

Just a thought - If SLR could somehow acquire the rights to the voice of a few actresses or their permission to use it. Then couldn't an AI be trained up to say everything in her voice. If an AI could then be trained to 'correct' mouth movements to the words the actress say - I've seen it's possible.

Couldn't a viewer then basically right their own script for a video?

There was a video game that did something similar recently called Starfield in which the robot companion knew 1011 defined names which could also be a pathway to the same result

if it was up to me i'd sooner have an AI connected to a heartrate monitor (i suggested heartrate monitors last year) because having a machine learning when you orgasm would be a powerful tool and i'm confident AI could learn your orgasm. Many streamers already use heartrate monitors for horror games, while it might be tricky to pinpoint your orgasm via raw heartbeat data i'm confident AI could learn a typical users orgasm from repeated sessions, orgasm data could also be stored. There are also cockrings that can accurately track your erection which would also be really valuable for AI. Honestly AI having a full knowledge of your erection and your orgasm seems like it could be achieved by a wristband and smart cockring. Honestly i would buy a SLR branded heartbeat monitor, like those fitbit style things people use for jogging.

Misgolas ...current tech for orgasm prediction is a slightly inflated small butt plug, the unconscious contractions it detects can help a correctly dialled in machine keep one on the edge indefinitely.

However, dialling in said machine is incredibly fiddly, and a bit of a pain in the ass to get right...
