The AI generated pass-through mask lags behind the actual video.(It works normally most of the time, but occasionally, the mask either doesn't work at all or moves slowly with a delay, as if it's lagging.) As this keeps happening, it continuously breaks the immersion. Is there a way to resolve this issue? I measured the internet speed on the SLR homepage, and the results are as follows:
Latency: 42.7ms
Streaming speed: 403Mbps
Parallel streaming speed: 478Mbps
Is this issue caused by the internet speed?

The router is the latest Asus AX6000, and the internal network is achieving very smooth speeds. When measured using a virtualdesktop app, the speed is consistently maintained at 1200.

The device I'm using is a Pico 4. Could the issue possibly be due to the VR device's CPU chipset?

Hey koreanman, does this happen in general or for any specific videos? Additionally, could you please provide some examples where you noticed this issue occurring? Thanks!

VelvetEcho Here's an example of the issue: After moving to a new section within a regular video, the pass-through mask tends to lag behind significantly. For instance, while a woman is positioned on top of my body, the pass-through mask displays her leaning forward as if performing a blowjob.
This error can be resolved by waiting for a short period or by moving to a different section. However, the need to manipulate the controller whenever a delay occurs interferes with the immersive experience.

As someone who skips around a lot this does happen but it isn't a big issue (IMO on a Q3). It catches up and is it then fine. Sometimes it does get stuck and moving around a bit clears it up from my experience last night.

I could see your server getting bogged down with thousands (?) of viewers simultaneously streaming PT AI and it getting worse.

When you fast-forward a lot, it does (sometimes) break the mask a little. However, it ALWAYS catches up. I honestly don't think this is an issue worth looking into. I have a Quest Pro and I have used a Q3 as well. On both devices, it always caught up to the video in 2-3secs max.

When skipping forward in 10-sec steps, I am sometimes having these little asynchronicities between mask and video as well when the video continues, but it's only for a moment and doesn't bother me much.

I would assume that if video and mask are two separate streams and one of them contains more data than the other, the larger one might take a bit longer to buffer and in that moment the other stream is not aware that it should wait a little longer.

I don't think I have ever experienced any major lags like the OP, in that the video was already in CG while the mask was still in BJ. My streaming speed is only half of what the OP has but my latency is approx. 10 ms less in case that is relevant.

milky97 Is it 2-3 seconds for all videos? Personally, it seems like the longer ago the video was uploaded, the slower the AI pass reacts (I experimented yesterday).

SchnuppiLilac I think it might be a regional limitation - the download speed is definitely full, but the responsiveness is slow. Maybe the problem here is responsiveness.

I've actually mentioned this in the local VR community, and there are a lot of people complaining of similar experiences to mine.

Let me share my personal experience. In short, the main issue is that to access SLR in 'Korea', you need to bypass the SNI block. During this process, I discovered that the pass-through mask is delayed.

To access the site, you need to bypass HTTPS, which seems to cause packet damage and delays. Additionally, the program needs to be run on a standalone VR device, and it appears that this program's interaction with the CPU or RAM exacerbates the errors.

I tried using an HTTPS bypass APK that utilizes SNI bypass, but most of them were outdated and not properly updated. Personally, I found Cloudflare's WARP to be quite effective. It had the lowest latency when used with the Deo VR app.

To complain a bit, the regulations in Korea are too severe. I understand that neighboring China has similar issues...

Hey koreanman, appreciate you providing the additional information.

The information has been passed to the team and they confirmed that the PT does not work in the optimal way in Asia. They will explore options on how to potentially improve this though.

Appreciate your patience and understanding on this.

I've noticed some videos fail to ever catch up, completely breaking the AI mask. Not sure if it's just me but I can provide an example:

The mask exists, it's just completely out of sync and never catches up. Anyone else experience anything similar?

I found out what was causing the issue. It seems that any video with passthrough out-of-sync can be fixed by changing the Deovr frame rate to 60 FPS.
