  • shortcomings on the SLR cardboard app.

I've recently become a premium user and i love the app. Its quite easy to navigate, and it takes away the preparation of downloading video's.

However, in the Cardboard app, i can not find the 'show Japanese/JAV' switch, on the app.
This is very inconvenient, because there seems to be a lot of censored porn in al lot of categories i otherwise like.
I'd like to filter the censored videos out on the cardboard app if thats possible.

Also, on the website there is a 'non-censored JAV' category, that I have not been able to find in the cardboard app. Why is that?
I do like to see Japanese porn in VR, as long as it isn't censored, and on the website i can see you clearly have some, but on the cardboard app its like finding a needle in a haystack.

Otherwise great work! your app has been the best VR porn experience i've had so far, I hope you can improve on the points i've mentioned.

    Hey Barry.

I highly recommend you to upgrade to Oculus Quest, Go, Valve Index or any decent 2019/2020 headset. Mobile phones were never designed for VR and there's no support from Google over the past two years.

Show Japanese/JAV switch is comming with the next update.

We will be synchronising website and app niches soon.

Thx for a great feedback 👍
    Looking forward

      Hi Barry,

I have to agree with doublevr

I've been a member for a little over a year and the first 5-6 months, I was using the App for Daydream. I have a Daydream and a Pixel 2 phone.

I saw an Oculus Go on sale, the 64 GB version, so I decided to just buy it out of the blue.

Wow! The picture quality/resolution is amazing compared to my phone. There's also minimal screen door effect as well.

I haven't used a Quest or any other standalone player so I can't say the Go is the best one, but compared to a smartphone, the difference is insane!

In my opinion, it's definitely worth the investment for picture quality and to me there's also value in having a dedicated VR (porn) player so I don't have to fill up space on my phone.

There are some drawbacks like no expandable storage with the Go and some basic functions with the web browser. For example, there's no copy and paste!

Overall, I feel the positives outweigh the negatives.

I will say that you will need to side load the SLR App for Go which may seem intimidating but it's really not. You need a PC and have to connect the Go to a PC/laptop to do it.

The SLR website had very detailed instructions so I found it very easy to do. The app works very well with Go.

      Just my two cents...

Thank you for your imput and quick replies!
I will buy a decent VR headset in the near future, but it will take a while for me to save up for that.
I have a powerful pc, so i want a headset i can also play games on, those are expensive.

I'l be looking forward to the japanese/jav switch in the app and the synchronizing of the website and app niches!
The most convenient way for me to browse right now, is to browse on my pc, favorite alot of videos, and then browse trough my favorites in the app. (still way better then having to download videos and move them to my phone)

Since you have a powerful PC and the desire to play games, it makes sense to invest in a better VR headset than the Go.

My PC sucks and although I'm a console gamer, I haven't had the desire to play VR games yet.

I'm jealous of your PC since 8k is on the horizon....

barry90 With Quest you can also get Oculus Link, basically any USB-C 3.0 cable. Once connected to PC it works like Oculus Rift from your GPU. If not - it's all-in-one headset on its own

doublevr thanks for the tip, i will look into that!
While I'm saving up, i will be using the gearVR app, been using it for a couple of days now and i have to say its a great experience! keep up the good work!
