See how you can practically see her whole back from behind and not from above just on the video trailer it self? that's because the cam is position further back. You can see where her hips get wider. Looks like you actually standing behind her. Not ur neck hoover over her mid back area.

U can tell the cam to forward. And when it's like this when your standing and u look down, you practically have to touch ur chin to ur chest just to look down instead just glancing down with eyes. At that point you want use the tilt option.

For my personal taste I like it further back, now we could move it forward like face to face upclose during doggy but the male model would have to actually lean forward so it looka ealistic instead of the just cam is forward but the guy is standing straight up behind her.

If yall haven't seen koalavr moving headcam pov, any kind of position is possible just watch his moving cam video's. A director coulld learn a lot camera placements just by watching them videos. 👍

      Vrsumo2017 it's of course subjective how we like doggy filmed. I can normally get on board with most of them as long as the distance is correct though.

      Imho if I had to pick then MilfVR's scene with Lauren Pixie is one of the best doggy scenes filmed... https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/pixies-dick-41798?t=129 but I'm also a but biased course her bum is just perfect in my book and dhe knows how to 'stand' so i get an entire view of her headm back and bum. If I could make one criticism it is that the male model is a bit short, so I have to zoom out a bit to get it right.

          Yeah that's a good one, I like doggy with both models standing, so much more can be done just in that position alone, both standing doing doggy by the bed.

          I mean why not go from a standing doggy to her turning around and they do a carry missionary, then toss her on the bed then go into her laying on bed and male still standing doing Mish. And then back to doggy while she on all fours on the bed, The camera already placed for standing position, do all the positions while cameras is set in one position. 👍

            I want to point out that the average male height is.
            American men it is 5' 9" and world wide it is 5' 7.5"

            So i think the stunt cock should be close to this for best all around filming.
            Only 14.5% of american men are 6' tall
            So if the stunt cock is 6' and you are average height at 5' 9" then you have to move the image 3 inches to make up the difference. But only 4 percent are 6'3" or above that would have to go the other way with zooming out 3 inches.

              rerun119 That average is taken over the entire population, not the demographic that uses VR that would be younger. So the average of VR user would be higher it as the younger generations are higher.

              That said I have no issues with the use of a male actor that is a 2-4 inches shorter than me - as long as they place the camera correctly and I see the guy's nipples and middle/upper chest clearly - like irl. It's literally psychically impossible to bend my head to such a degree forward that I can't see my nipples and middle chest so why some content producers places the camera closer than that is beyond me. Anyway if nipples and middle/upper cgest is in the shot that's I can usually zoom out and make a scene watchable.

              However as mentioned I often see studios that if not in the entire scene then at least in some positions barely shows the guy's nipples or chest and if the guy is shorter than me then if I try to zoom out in those scenes I run into two problems. 1. I can't create things that weren't in the shot to begin with, which create the 2. problems that to zoom out to acceptable 'cock distance' the image end up so warped and the male actor impossible 'elongated' it's unwatchable.

              Short version - I'll happily accommodate a shorter actor than me if they'll just place the camera correctly.

                  Actor height shouldn't make any difference if the studio is using a fixed distance from the stunt cock. And remember the torso is not the full height of the actor so the difference in eyes to cock for a 6 foot and 5 foot actor is only like 4 inches - around 1/3 of the total difference in height.

                  I can't see my own nipples in passthrough - so maybe that's not a good guide to accuracy? The FOV of the Quest 3 is pretty limited. But we're also not dealing with the human eye here, it's a fisheye lens with heavy distortion, and the edges of the frame are going to be less accurately shown in terms of scale and perspective than the centre.

                      I'm all ears for a better guidance. Currently the best guide I have found for correct distance is that I'm able to see the male actor's nipples and middle/upper chest. If I can't see it I know the camera is too close - there's instances where the camera is angled that change the guidance. It's a simple matter of many years of 'trial & error'. I realise though that we are all different and have different experience.

                          OliverDK for me it's just "can I get the stunt cock to be the same position and distance as mine without heavy distortion" and "is the female cropped?" as well as correct scale. I do think passthrough helps in normalising perception a bit, but yeah we're all different. I'd quite like to try shooting VR porn just because of the technical challenge, which is vast and ever-changing.
