      If the scenes were already contracted and paid for before SLR reconsidered its relationship with Jimmy. I have no problem with the scenes being released. Are they supposed to just kiss that money goodbye?

      And if you’re gonna release the scenes. Just release them under the SLR name. Just explain you had these scenes in the can before all the drama. And Jimmy wasn’t the only person involved in making these scenes. The actresses, crew, MUA, etc…all worked hard on the scene. And they deserve to see the light of day.

      I’m Ok with you guys trying to recoup the money spent on the scenes. It’s not an inconsequential amount. Just be upfront about it. No need to try and sneak them out on the DL.

      Speaking selfishly for a moment. I’m a big fan of Melody Marks. And I would love to see her scene.

        petermc The indication was that these scenes were nothing to do with SLR, he was totally independent, so there shouldn’t be any investment to recoup unless that was untrue.

              I highly doubt that’s the case. It’s not like Jimmy just shoots scenes. Pays out of his own pocket. Then shops them around to distributors on spec.

              Yes, he’s an independent producer. But SLR hired him to shoot these scenes. They probably even booked the models for him. Whether money exchanged hands already. Or they were going to reimburse later. IDK

              But all this talk that he’s totally independent was said during all the drama. And was probably damage control more than anything else

              I’m not an expert on the industry by any means. But I’m pretty sure producers just don’t make content hoping to sell it to someone later. They are hired, as independent producers, to make scenes for a company.

                  I'm just curious but is Jimmy Lifestyles damage good forever or can he be redeemed in the eyes of those that is against him? This is not a defend of JL or anything of the sort. I'm generally just curious.

                    It was a part of a settlement that we cancel his channel and release the three produced scenes unlabeled. I guess we are going to respect that and release the scenes next week

                      OliverDK That's a good question. I wish they had handled the entire situation differently. If the very first thing we heard about it was something along the lines of "We want to give Jimmy another chance, he says he's changed and we believe him. But to be sure we're going to have an independent auditor on site to make sure everything stays professional." i think things could have worked.

                      The way it got sprung and then there was all the backlash and a long ass story from Jimmy about why he acted creepy because that's just how things were when he got into the industry and the weird fake accounts that were defending him and trolling everyone that brought up complaints......it was just a total shit show that made him look like nothing had ever changed.

                      It's a shame because i think he makes really good content.

                          I agree. He came on here with fake account after fake account, likening pornstars the same as whores and therefore implying because they get paid to perform sex that somehow therefore anything goes. A professional shoot includes pre-production where contracts and call sheets go out to participants. What happens is agreed ahead of time. I think this clip from Holly Randall’s podcast with ACC sums it up pretty much right, and I’m guessing she would go nowhere near Jimmy today either.

                              My 2 cents. While I do not want any Lifestyles content in the future, if it's indeed part of the settlement maybe have the Starlets make a quick vid statement on their phone to send to SLR saying (only if they agree with the statement) "I endorse this scene. While I understand the issues with the Director/Production team, I felt safe and was treated well during the making of this scene." and tag it on as a 2d beginning to each movie or additional video on the scenes page. Knowing the safety of the performers (because of previous events) is the main issue. Then we'll be done with Lifestyles and everyone can move on.
