  • Did anyone get the Quest 3 v64 update?

I keep checking but it hasn't been pushed to me yet. If you got it, did it improve passthrough?

    Me! I've been using for a month or so (enrolled in Public Preview). Passthrough is PERFECT. Well, almost. I think there's more warping now when you move your hands in front of you, but the overall quality and lighting "processing" is great!

    And another thing I've been testing is the "laying down mode", surprisingly good and without glitches!

      justsomedude101 so hey you can get the update immediately if you join the public test channel. Just open the oculus (meta quest) app and bluetooth to your Q3. Then in the app, go into headset settings>advanced settings>join PTC.

          I got it. The passthrough looks better and less grainy, specially in low light conditions. Dark objects no longer look fully black. However, my room's yellow warm lighting now looks like it has some kind of piss filter. I don't mind it, but it's not color accurate. I wish DeoVR allowed me to apply filters to the passthrough itself to tweak it. I know apps can't access the video feed, but maybe being able to overlay some filter could do the trick

                justsomedude101 Night and day difference. Sharper image and the color looks way more natural, even in low light. This is definitely going to help with immersion. It's not perfection but it's a big improvement.

                    lolitovtb I've only tried it in natural light and I'm very impressed. I'll try it later when it gets dark here and I turn on the lights - and let you know if I have the same issue. I use "soft white" LED's so I dunno how that will affect things.

                      What sucks is that I use my phone hotspot for internet and I'm out of high speed data until Saturday!!

                        Impressed with the better low-light quality so far. Now I just need to wait for daylight to test out the natural light...

                            Lol I'm assuming most of in here are pt fans cuz we're concerned about how good the pt looks lol 😆

                            I'm hoping it looks better in low light. That's how I mostly watch pt, but I lower the contrast and brightness to match the lower light. Works good 👍
