hey first off kudos to the team for the amazing passthrough work been doing, grey set and dude in suit is for sure best over other methods so far so keep that cuming. Really loving passthrough with my q3 so much its starting to spoil me over regular vr similar to how vr spoiled me over 2d hehe. We have reached peak immersion for the time being friends.
BUT The only complaint i have is we need more famous talent. So far almost all of the pt girls are no names. Please try bring in some bigger names into that magical Real world. for example to name a few: blake blossom, laney grey, alina lopez, jasmine wilde, violet starr, mia kay, penolope kay, ryan reid... or anyone famous,

Cheers

Good point, but I dont exactly agree with the idea that big talent is exactly what PT needs. I personally feel like its a deeper issue. In my opinion, PT is still very niche, even for our group of users. It's quirky and still needs constant adjusting each time the angle changes. We need a more consistent and streamlined format where a certain amount of essential positions are filmed only with easy to replicate positions and angles in real life. Once a more streamlined and standardized format is setup and followed on all scenes it will make it easier to enjoy.

Yes, talent is huge, i would say once the basics are setup, talent is for sure the next big thing, to your point.

Along the same lines, my other gripe is the underdeveloped custom background capabilities. We are still waiting for the DeoVR app update that will let us select our own custom backgrounds. Sure there are some people who are already releasing the PT scenes with CGI backgrounds but I want to pick and make my own. I made a few CGI backgrounds early on but they are still pretty boring and require way too much time to learn and render them out. I am actually about to start filming my own live location background videos since I have the same camera. To me this is personally more important that who the model is, as long as I find her attractive, i dont care if she is a popular girl or not. I would rather be able to transport myself in the scene to a real life location I have personally shot with the same camera. Imagine watching a PT scene in the middle of a crowded beach with people walking by, or in a busy shopping center or some other public space. That sounds more thrilling than just another PT scene with a more recognizable girl

I feel exactly the same! Regular VR just starts to feel kind of boring after having experienced good PT. And yes, we definitely need some bigger names! (and bigger tits LOL)

I would like some videos like this.

mebejoe I did some test shots last night of my office space to approximate camera height and angle position relative to the horizon, meaning if the camera was straight or tilting up or down slightly. It was a nightmare. For whatever reason they have the same sex position but from two different camera heights. Why? Who knows, one was close to the guys upper chest/face and then it cuts to the camera closer to his lower chest. No reason other than to probably get a slightly closer look at the models face. These type of camera changes for the same exact sex pose make no sense for PT scenes and just make it needlessly more difficult for those of us wanting to make custom backgrounds. They also need to seriously start keeping a record of their camera positions and angles on all these scenes for us creators to be able to streamline the process of making custom backgrounds. It takes two seconds to simply take not of the height from floor during each angle and what the approximate camera tilt is. That alone would go far. I did some CGI backgrounds a while ago and it's fairly quick to just make a bunch of guesses on the camera position and angle but I dont really like CGI backgrounds anymore, I want to shoot real life backgrounds with the same camera they use, they just need to simplify everything more.

harigeharry Regular VR definitely takes a hit after watching SLR PT vids. Only thing holding it back IMO is the variety in looks/models.

From the non-PT team: I agree. PT seems to consume all the newest talent--many of which turn out to be one-shot wonders and never shoot traditional VR.
There's no shortage of famous-talent in traditional non-PT VR so seems only fair to share the wealth.
