Do you move around with PT?

I watch videos in my spare bedroom setting or laying in the bed. So if the girl is standing up and talking to me then she is standing through my bed. This doesn't work at all.

I decided to take the Quest 3 out into the living room and actually stand up. I have to say it looked really good. All the positions looked really good if I moved all around the couch.
The problem is that for one I use a Handy so moving this around is not going to happen. If you have used a Handy for awhile then you know you are not going back to not using it.
The second thing is that maybe it's just me but i'm not going to stand up and move all over the place. Maybe if I was in my 20's again then I would.
The times that everything lines up perfectly then I have to say it is amazing. I say that as a guy that has hated on PT in the past.

My conclusion is that scenes should be shot with one position for the whole scene. Like the whole thing should be for sitting in a chair or laying in a bed. The mixing of them is too much work. I can watch regular VR in all the positions in my bed with no problem. Because of this IMO PT is only a novelty category like squirting. If I am in the mood for it then it's the best thing ever.

Although if it was a certain theme, e.g. a spa/massage parlour then it could of course be shot in one position - lying down or a strip club private room = sitting

Maybe what could help is if SLR adds icons to the thumbnail/description to show which positions the scenes are best watched in

This would also be added to each chapter in a video, so people can quickly skip to sitting position for example without having to scan through the entire clip

Is this something 6DoF would help with in future?

Pretty much this. It would automatically reduce view numbers of those videos if popular positions are missing. It's not needed either because you can easily skip to the position you want using the tags, then you can re-orient the video to match your position. Re-orienting the video was a little clunky in DeoVR last time I used it (some time ago) but still easy enough to be done in seconds.

Yeah skip the parts that I can't easily get in position for in a bed. Then once in a while I go back to scenes that work well with sitting or other positions and only watch those positions. It's a real pain to do both with a handy though. Also, standing kinda sucks in pass-through imo. Too lazy for that most of the time haha

I must say immersion wise it can de really cool sitting somewhere else every now and again though. Like in your living room. Kinda re triggers your brain in, hey what's she doing in your house

I'd say 90% of my vr time with pt videos I'm watching laying FLAT cg rcg.

The other 20% I'll sit in a chair for seated situations like the dancing strippers, cg rcg bj.
Sometimes in a laying position when it goes into a doggy or missionary while on the bed I'll prop up to see how looks, enjoy the view for bit, but mostly it's laying flat cg rcg bj I'm watching.

Maybe try a tanyly doll, I think if I had tantly doll I'd get into other positions more besides laying.

Never move around and for my personal taste, I would prefer ALL videos to be shot with just sitting and reclining BJs, HJs, and CG, but not reverse CG. Maybe some missionary on occassion.

But that's just MY personal taste. Other uses seem to really enjoy some of the other positions. As a result, a lot of the studios seem to try to get nearly EVERY position in every video. Which I don't really like.

I'm think I'm more like you and would like to see videos where the male actor doesn't move around much.

That's one reason I really like VR Edging -- they put the stunt dick in one position and keep him there.

But here's an idea: Whey not film the videos in whatever positions the director wants and then provide different versions featuring the male actor in different positions?

Oh, BTW -- your comment about once you use the Handy, you'll never go back? See, that shows again how different people have different tastes. I have a Handy and nearly every other interactive machine and I rarely use them anymore. To me, they are cumbersome, distracting, and over-stimulating. I prefer to let my imagination do the work.

But again -- there are so many people who have different tastes and desires.

I imagine that the toughest thing for SLR is trying to please all the thousands of users.

A pro tip from a guy that has watched too much VR porn
I now sit on a bed but I used you watch in a recliner chair.
A recliner chair that will lean almost flat worked really well for moving quickly from sitting to laying back.

When I'm in the mood I'll take one of my Tantaly big asses and switch between layjng/seated cowgirl/reverse cowgirl and standing doggy/missionary. It's really fun when you can get it lined up as the Tantaly big ass makes it possible to 'touch' the girl's bum. However it can be kind of tiring and the cleaning afterwards is more cumbersome so mostly I lay in bed and watch cowgirl with a fleshlight.

I do move around when using passthrough, it's much more immersive that way. Some positions when you would move around a lot like doggy or missionary are hard to align correctly, so I don't think they should be a priority. Laying down and sitting works best, standing up looks cool but I'm rarely going to get out of bed/chair for it

Tantaly Dolls + PT Videos = The ultimate experience.
I'm always moving around positions because of it. Always trying to line up the girl with my Doll, which makes the whole experience VERY realistic.

It has nothing to do of whether it's PT or not! I always move during my VR sex sessions.

The goal is a perfect alignment with the male's body for better immersion. Takes me a good 5 to 10 minutes of prep time beforehand: preparing the fleshlight, crafting a handmade pillow torso, setting up the local, and making sure it's just me and the virtual world 🤫😂 ...you know, the usual.

Now, when it comes to certain positions like doggy, missionary, or close-up missionary, I prefer to handle things manually, so to speak. No Handy involved. Just some good body thrusts handle the situation. I save the Handy for CG and RCG.
