meowy84 I tried PT and I hate it.
Data insights
Hairsational Same here, and yes, I Have Quest 3 with latest update.
...personally i think everything looks better on the Q3 as opposed to the Q2, so Q2 now gathering dust. Still can't stand PT, unfortunately.
i'd also be interested in some data points for scripted content. Kinda odd to see people hiding content by 'sex toy script', considering the script has nothing to do with the content. A case of chucking the baby out with the bathwater, i fear...

...i think PT is an awesome idea, it just doesn't do it for me yet because my brain is stupid... if 6DoF does what i hope, and fixes my floaty woman / cock issue, then i win, all your video are belong to me.
But what i really wanna know are all the stats on Haptics.
How many users vs non users? How much AI is consumed in total vs HC? On vids with AI and HC, which shows more preference? Is there a correlation between the 'request script' button and HC scripts being made? Is it Handy's all the way down? Is there a correlation between 'numbers of peeps using/not using scripts' with PTVR vs with normal VR? Which vids are the most popular for haptics users (so max view counts, but only with haptics on)? Just throw the raw data down if you can, i'm sure there's interesting stuff one can't predict...
Wendigo Well I actually really like PT and I'm happy they are providing PT content. But I understand it is not for everybody.
However I never thought of hiding certain content. I'm gonna hide these compilations now
Need PT to work on Vision Pro asap haha

It's fine if you like PT, and it's fine if they continue to provide the content. I object to statements like "If you don't like it, it's because you haven't tried it" (untrue), "you need to upgrade your tech" (very untrue), or calling us "PT-deniers" (ffs, are you trying to run off eveyone who prefers something else?).
It is hard to get along peacefully when the PT folks seem to think that it will/should push out all non-PT content, and that others are stupid/poor/etc if they don't like what they like. It isn't a competetition, and it isn't all or nothing.
Wendigo seems to me PT is becoming a "too big to fail" kind of proposition. SLR is banking on it being massive and trying to corner the market by pouring a lot of resources into it, so the detractors are now seen as adversarial to these ambitions. I think it will be successful but to what extent and at what cost to the VR product is anyone's guess. It's probably best to keep these things in mind whenever we're trying to interpret data.
Wendigo No you are right with your point. In my opinion they should continue with PT content and not reduce the amount of Non-PT scenes. I still prefer Non-PT over PT scenes. I want them to produce more content for both. But I wish they would release more scenes than they are doing right now..
BungaBunga i agree, ai passthrough is the way. not all scenes look great in passthrough so being able to switch it off is a must.

chanser ai passthrough
I bet ai pt getts more stream time then
Regular alpha pt productions, why? My guess is its because there's so much AI pt that it out #s the # of alpha production.
If there were 100s of alpha pt videos I'd be watching them!
70% of users use app 1 or 2 days per week.
18% use app 3 days per week
And 12% use 4 or more days per week.
AzgardCKJ This is a great point.
AzgardCKJ they should continue with PT content and not reduce the amount of Non-PT scenes
I don't really like PT videos and I do have a Q3. I still don't care how it looks but that is just me.
There would be peace in SLR land if they didn't take away regular scenes for PT scenes. I never signed up for PT scenes.
I have a feeling that we are about to get a lot of PT scenes from europe now with weeks of no regular.
rerun119 I have a feeling that we are about to get a lot of PT scenes from europe now with weeks of no regular.
Looking at the pipeline and booking schedule - doesn't appear to be the case at all.
rerun119 I sure hope not
doublevr So users that are using the app less than once per week are non-existent? US lawmakers can't know about this, otherwise the porn tax will go up to 20%!
At first I was a bit taken aback by what the top hidden lists contain especially the performers, then realised only 9% of people have hid a performer
It's hard to know how much impact low quality videos or "too many uploads" skew these results
RIP having BBW or mature SLR scenes
I wonder if we can get some kind of data insight relating to boob jobs vs natural with views/likes although people that have a boob size preference might skew that result a bit

60% of watched time is on blow job, cowgirl, missionary, doggy style, reverse cowgirl.

doublevr I would've thought foot fetish and armpits would get a mention with how often they appear in SLRO scenes.
Genuinely surprised BJs are more popular than the actual sex too. I always skip them since they don't do anything for me.
doublevr Wouldn't this require some sort of normalization with regard to segment duration and segment abundance? BJs will of course get more watch time than cumshots because there are no 10-min cumshots to watch. And of course anal will get less watch time because more than 95 % of all scenes in the main feed don't even contain anal.
Hairsational armpits
I think they forgot to include the POV kissing segments that include the armpits. Here it looks like no one would be watching it, while the popularity graphs along the scrub bar in the app say otherwise.
SchnuppiLilac probably has something to do with being at the beginning of a video
SchnuppiLilac not only this for anal, most anal videos don't have anal segments and anal is actually mixed into cowgirl, doggie, mish and what not...
I also don't even see the creampie segment here, making you think they are not liked. I find it really doubtful.
Seems these stats are worthless anything else than positions.
wenworth
We wouldn't see creampie since the metric is 'share of streamed time'. And the creampie segments are going to be very short.
These stats are super interesting though - I can imagine a few ways these findings can be applied. Would also be interesting to get pivots on these based on segment order (to de-bias cases where the first scene, typically bj, might introduce bias in the results).
Segment utilization (proportion of segment watched over segment length) could also be super useful for content creation.
@doublevr , btw I love stuff like this. This is probably my favorite thread on this forum. Please keep sharing data insights like this
This makes pretty good sense to me considering BJ is usually at the start of the scene. I figure most people just watch a scene until they orgasm and then they end the experience and close the app shortly after.
Looks like most people outlast the BJ and then they start dropping off as the positions start getting more intense.
Hairsational I think the big reason is because it is always the first thing to happen.
If you look at the heat maps on the videos. The beginning is always the biggest part. I think this is why the beginning of the story is so important. People turn on the video to see what this is going to be all about. They watch to see if she turns them on and that starts with the BJ.
I don’t know if I totally agree with the speculation around blowjob. While blowjob is toward the beginning it’s usually some talking, undressing, or other stuff I can’t get past fast enough. I personally watch the first part of the scene long enough for the script to load, then I skip to other sections which include all the BJ portions. I personally think blowjob is watched more because it’s usually the one of the fastest part of the script.
HughMungus I figure most people just watch a scene until they orgasm and then they end the experience and close the app shortly after.
That’s an interesting thought. With a large selection of porn, I stay on a video for 1-2 min before loading the next in search of scenes/scripts I do like.
@doublevr I also love the data and insights, threads. When you use these metrics to influence development decisions are you only looking at single data points like this or do you dig into correlations? Like what scenes/scripts/features/functionality was released mid-May through July in 2023 causing a spike in missionary views? (Same with BJ in April-June)?
Do you cross reference segment type with script yes/no, script speed, time on segment, time in scene, segment before/after, etc to determine if metrics paint a pattern or are anomalies?
Love it, can’t wait to hear/see more?

up to 30% of daily SLR watchtime is passthrough with 50% of it being AI PT
Got 3,200 AI PT scenes and proceeding the whole database (putting things on hold once bugs discovered).
Finishing the second studio to produce PT in US
Also launching live cams PT with control my sex toy in coming weeks
83% of SLR subscribers primarily stream in the app
[deleted]
doublevr It doesn't mean you should remove downloads and get rid of that 17% like your fellows
Makes sense. Users will stream their video of intrigue(for a few minutes) first to see if they like it.
If they love it enough, many of them will download it. If not, they move on to stream the next video.
